I like the convenience of having accomodation right above the pub. Excellent communication and is a friendly host. Lovely space and views. Large breakfast while entertained by the local birds. Stocked with everything you might need or want for a few nights away. Quiet spot away from the crowds and traffic, yet a short drive from the hinterland hotspots. Alexandria is a shared home space, however there is amazing privacy, discretion and freedom of movement. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

The bed was very comfortable and enormous, and the shower was big with a really nice shower head. The gardens made the bedroom feel cool and private. The front of the property has a well maintained traditional manor type garden and the back has a lot of beautiful trees and succulents with a path that follows a little flowing stream to the back. There are little areas to sit and listen to the trees and birds - makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the rain forest. I’m a bit of an anxious person when it comes to new people and was worried about being in a B&B situation but Renate and Roberto were unpretentious and warm and made us feel really welcome and at ease. And Rupert (sweet teddy bear dog) helped us get our puppy dog fix. The breakfast was fancy cafe quality and we had an awesome coffee to go with it. I’ve never stayed at a B&B before but I reckon this one’s the best.
