I loved the details made in the outdoor area. Private beach with a pool, restaurant and comfortable "beds" on it. Many activities for guests to enjoy. The bus stops just outside the accomodation. Would come back here again. Also preferred the beaches on Isla Mujeres from the ones in Tulum, Cancun and Palma - there was seaweed, because the season of it already started, on North and Central beach of Isla Mujeres there was none, so it was another plus to stay in this accomodation.

The breakfast was awesome. Great strong coffee, fresh orange juice, toast, butter w/jelly & a beautifully prepared fruit plate every morning 7:30-10am. Carlo's was very attentive to every need. He even ran off alittle over friendly iguana 😂 for me, he also arranged a rental golf cart & drove me to centro to pick it up. Above & beyond.

We have day tripped over to Isla Mujeres several times over...
We have day tripped over to Isla Mujeres several times over the past 25 years, but never stayed overnight. We stayed for 7 nights this time. It has become, for the most part, a tourist trap. It is a small island with not a big variety of things to do. The turtle farm was closed during our visit, but we did enjoy going down to Punta Sur, that is worth your $6. It's a good place to leave from for snorkeling and diving. Things are fairly expensive there so don't expect cheap groceries or sundries there. Many places have no prices, so I suspect tourist and locals get different prices. I don't think golf cart rental is worth the money because taxis are everywhere and priced fairly.

This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres.
This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres. The island is very charming and has a lovely local vibe (though there are lots of tourists)--it's nothing like Cancun, though it has plenty of amenities. However this time, I found the services (food, drinks, golf-cart rental, etc) to be very expensive--the prices were comparable and even higher than at home. This was a surprise and we could have budgeted accordingly.
But still, beautiful beaches, water, sunsets, plenty of places to eat/drink.

I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island.
I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island. Besides the beaches, there's nothing spectacular to do that you wouldn't find elsewhere in the Cancun-Playa-Tulum area. Bring cash, pesos, it should be renamed to "solo efectivo(cash only) island", restaurants that accept cards are rare, the rates at the local exchange offices are not great.

Beautiful place to visit!
Beautiful place to visit! Friendly people, great live music, lots of restaurants, and food stands. The water was an amazing color of turquoise blue and the sand was soft and white. It was easy to rent a golf cart and tour the entire island. We had an amazing time!

This was our last stop before the end of our three week...
This was our last stop before the end of our three week backpacking around Yucatan . We stayed for five days and it was just right amount of time for us as Isla Mujeres is not that big . It’s however very pretty and scenic and every traveller should make at least 3 day stop there . Town has many restaurants and shops and if you go further away from the port , it gets even prettier . Locals are very friendly , although in town they’re hard to haggle with about prices ( not as cheap and easy as in Cozumel or other islands ) . You sort of get the feel that there are lot of Americans around ( as it’s close to Cancun ) who tend to pay silly money for souvenirs and locals seem to know that so they’re not budging with prices . So word of advice : if you are planning to get cheap souvenirs , get them in Cozumel or Holbox . Other than that , Isla Mujeres is a very pretty island to visit.

Isla can be very busy with overnight guests but day trippers...
Isla can be very busy with overnight guests but day trippers as well. So many places to eat and drink but don’t be afraid to wander off the Main Street and check out smaller establishments and the street carts. Family run places are the best. Not the deals price wise there used to be but still decent value.
No mass tourism, this place really stands for peace and silence in the south of this beautiful island. Our stay felt like being a part of a family with super friendly staff.
The best thing for us is this incredible view. La Joya offers breakfast on the balcony of your room, so you can enjoy your coffee in silence while having this incredible ocean view.
From the hotel area you can also reach a quite small and silent beach area -far away from all the tourists- which is the perfect place for snorkeling.
A few rooms on top of a dive school. Very nice staff, quiet at night and just a few steps from the best beach of Isla Mujeres. The room is not fancy but has everything you could need on such an island and the dive school down the stairs was professional and easy to deal with (discount prices when you stay there). I would definitely stay there again when returning to Isla Mujeres
The hotel was located very close to the ferry stop, it took us about 4/5 minutes of walking. The hotel offered us beach towels every day that we could hand back once we were back from the beach, which was very nice. And even though Isla Mujeres is a very small island, the main street (where you can find food spots and souvenir shops was also just a 2 mins walk!).
The stay here was perfect! The staff is so friendly, especially Andrea. Great location, we were able to walk everywhere. Even being so close to the restaurants and the Main Street we didn’t hear the loud noise people complained about at night. The hotel itself is very nicely kept. If you like boutique hotels, this is for you!
Very cute hotel off the main path but a great location; loved the hammock and small pool outside of our room and also loved the main pool overlooking the ocean. Large rooms with fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the popular Hidalgo street and the beautiful North Beach.
Pretty hotel in the heart of Isla Mujeres, we were pleasantly suprised as we booked late and it was one of the last hotel available : but we really appreciated it !
The rooms are huge and very spacious with a big balcony (sea view)
The breakfast was ok, not incredible but it's nice to have it included
What isn’t there to like? This hotel by far was the best I’ve seen and I’ve travelled around the world a fair bit. Everywhere you looked it was perfect, you felt the luxury feeling as soon as the boat picks you up. The butler service Omar was fantastic and all staff in the whole resort were exceptional.
The property was clean, private and had a lovely view overlooking the ocean. Adriana was a fantastic host, she went above and beyond to try and help me get the best out of my stay on Isla Mujeres. Unfortunately, the weather ruined my plans but Adriana was very accommodating and understanding.
Nothing. This hotel is literally still on it's beginning and there are SO MANY fuckups that it's unbelievable.
Service is for real the worst I've ever experienced. No matter how many fuckups were there - they didn't give ANY compensation. NOT A LUXURY HOTEL
Very helpful staff at this beautiful boutique hotel with a gorgeous view on the ocean. Top-notch room and one of the best beds we have slept in. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the busy tourist center of Isla Mujeres.
Location best in Isla Mujeres. Quiet, close to sea(not for swimming) but start of nice10 min walk to good beaches. Great sunrises . All u need in local setting away from massatourism.
Stayed here many times. It is a hotel on an island. It is the best location ever to access all beaches by walking. Pool, great restaurant, and small enough to be relaxing.
best location on island, walking street with restaurants and shops nearby, great beach, hotel use beach lounge chairs and umbrellas, very helpful and courteous staff!
The hotel was directly on the Malacon therefore listening to the waves from the patio was beautiful. The Hotel is walkable to North Beach and close the the town.
