Our stay at Hotel Kaiservilla was exceptional. The spacious room with a balcony offered breathtaking views, and the breakfast was unparalleled in richness and variety. The cozy spa, complete with two saunas and a relaxing resting room, provided the perfect post-skiing relaxation. While the ski slope was a bit of a walk away, it was still within walking distance, and the helpful and friendly staff made our stay truly memorable.

The host welcomed us when we arrived. He took time to show us around. He also came with welcoming drinks (snaps). The apartment was just like in the pictures. The view from the apartment was great. You could see the Grossglockner from the bed and from the bathtub. Amazing!

The village and the surroundings are beautiful, good food in the restaurants. We missed a cafe open in the morning :).
The church and its surroundings are incredibly beautiful and well-kept: no wonder it is the symbol of the village.

If you ever go to visit Heiligenblut, please drive the Grossgluckner Hochalpenstrasse and visit the Kaiser Franz Josefs Hohe. Park your car and go find some murmeltieren. I had the best day of my life with some carrots and the friendly murmeltieren.

We did the road to view Grossglockner, and it is highly recommended! On the way from Zell am See, Heiligenblut was at the end of this road so it was a great place to finish the day and stay.

Our second visit to Heiligenblut, perfect location for a short stay crossing Austria. The village is small, quiet and friendly, the views and sense of relaxation fantastic. Sure you can stay at more convenient places along the busy highways crossing Austria, staying here after a 10 hour drive and you feel recharged to continue the next day.
Of course if you stay longer then Heiligenblut has many things to do nearby, a great location as base camp for family trips in the summer.

It is a good place to visit because everybody could find something nice to do. They have a lot of places for kids, you can go hiking, or just walk around. It is a bus to the platform under Grossglockner or you can go with your car to enjoy wondeful views and nature. Of course at the winter there are a lot of places to ski. Go there you would not be sorry.

Picturesque drives, plus more. Such a wonderful place. Stay at least 3 - 7 nights. We couldn't squeeze it all in with only 2 nights.
Enjoy! 😍
Staying at this hotel with my family was an unforgettable experience. From our window, we could enjoy breathtaking views of beautiful mountains and a waterfall, and we also met a lovely dog belonging to the hotel owner. It added a lot of fun and joy to our stay. The breakfast was lavish and varied, and the hosts were extremely friendly, reaching out to us even before our arrival. Every window in the hotel offered stunning views, making it highly recommendable.

Fantastic view from our room and balcony , a small river if flowing about 30 meters from your windows, just gorgeous.
A 7 min walk to the center of the village where are some good restaurants.
Very quiet at the hotel and the surroundings.
Free private parking just in front of the house.
A very good breakfast served in the morning. Great coffee ☕️.
Everything, rooms, the view from them was fantastic! A very cosy place to stay, it feels that the pension was built with love! The Staff was very polite and helpful. There is a dryer room to dryer motorcycle or skiing clothes, boots. Breakfast was very good. Free parking near the hotel, and outstanding sauna just for the few euros additionally!
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast - perfect eggs, made on order by Frau Izabela! I also recommend to try dinner prepared by Chef Hansi and his staff - traditional, tasty, but with a nice twist! Very cozy hotel bar for apres ski. The hotel is just 50 steps from the main ski-lift. Excellent value for money!
It will never be easy to run this property while taking care of her kid/family by a woman but you can tell something when you notice the decoration made in this property. This property is nice and clean. Location is great (Heiligenblut may be one of the best locations to visit Großglockner area).
Everything! The staff was SUPER friendly! We had our room upgraded for free, so we had an amazing view from the room. The hotel is located in the heart of the village, and is cozy, well decorated, super clean. Plus, the food served at their restaurant is delicious!! We had a great time there.
Very comfortable stay in centre of Heiligenblut. We had clean spacious room with balcony and beautiful view to the church and valley. Good basic breakfast. For our stay, it was perfect. Walking distance to the centre, to the supermarket and ski lift.
Heiligenblut is definately the place to be, if you want to do the Grossglockner Alpine Road. Pension Lagler is a nice pension to sleep and stay in before you take off. Breakfast is outstanding - huge buffet - great coffee.
We love the hotel design and decorating way, the attention to each and every small details, we loved very much and in particular the restaurant and the reach menu ,we can definitely recommend and encouraging others to try
Pension is located above the Heiligenblut, directly at the Grossglockner hochalpenstrasse, close to the tollgate. The room is renewed and cozy. The valley view is breathtaking. Excellent breakfast and very willing owner.
Huge apartment in a very nice hotel with all the needed amenities. Breakfast was excellent, with many different tasty choices.
Nice balcony with lots of light in the morning.
Very comfortable and large beds.
Beautiful location along the Grossglockner road. Staff were exceptional. We have been traveling for a month and stayed at a dozen hotels. This one had the best breakfast by far. The dinner was excellent
Walter was beyond accommodating, the staff were very welcoming and the lady who runs breakfast is so fast and so sweet! We will absolutely stay there whenever we are in Heiligenblut.
A great choice in Heiligenblut, centrally located, but on a quiet side-street and with an owner on site who genuinely cares about his guests' experience. Highly recommended.
The location is good. The rooms were comfortable. The building has lots of Austrian charm. When the people responded to us by email they were always very nice.
