Jodhpur has a rich cultural heritage and the people of Jodhpur are lovely. My favourite experience was visiting Mehrangarh Fort, it was beautiful. My guided tour was provided by a knowledgeable guide, Nagendar Singh. Getting around the place was fairly easy. I was also pleased with my stay at Ranbanka Palace Hotel. I also got to try the local cuisine.

Jodhpur is a small but beautiful city with almost all tourist places close to each other. One could enjoy quality time calmly. One can plan for short term holidays. In two days almost all the beautiful places could be covered up and can enjoy authentic Rajasthani food too. Recommended to visit during winter.

After stays in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur it was a relief to come to Jodhpur. The city was full of interesting streets and markets to explore, fascinating history and architecture, with a grand fort on top of the hill.
We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed a walking tour of the city at night, an adrenaline-filled morning ziplining up at the fort and a 4 hour visit to Bishnoi village and the surrounding area. We would have happily stayed for another day or two if we had had the time.
We stayed in Khamma Heritage, in the heart of the old city, a very nice small hotel with lovely owners.
On the advice of others we ate one evening meal on the rooftop at Hotel Indique, in Pal Haveli. It was fantastic, with a wide range of Indian and non-Indian food and a good drinks menu. Blankets and heaters provided plenty of warmth on a chilly evening and the views were wonderful.

2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
The locals are nice and friendly. I would suggest not to take big car to jodhpur as the streets are too narrow in the old city area (where most of the tourist spots are). If possible rent a two-wheeler there and cover all the spots otherwise you can also get autos.
You can visit Osian district where you can enjoy desert safari and cultural programs (food, dance, singing). There is a famous sachchai mata temple there. Its a must visit (very clean and quite with a beautiful view of the city).
Food:
Must tries-Vijay Restaurant (ask for their specials and they will recommend you the best, do ask for lassan ki chatni), Mishrilal lassi wala (try their Malayi lassi-just amazing). Rajasthani thali
Local finds: Pyaaz ki kachori, mewa kachori (if you are sweet tooth), mirchi bada, daal bada and kabuli.

We loved the city.
We loved the city. It was much cleaner than other indian cities. And it is walkable! You can see the pride of the people here to live here. Also lots of places for shopping and most cafe's have rooftop terraces. Always great view while eating.
Nowhere else in India did we feel more at home than at Suraj Haveli in Jodhpur. A wonderful family with a heart of gold who are always there for you. The best service in all areas. They have become family to us and they will always stay with us. Highly recommended to stay here for anyone coming to the amazing blue city. Also the rooms are equipped with everything and there is very friendly staff. We had the unique opportunity to celebrate the birth of Krishna with them, an unforgettable experience! 💙
This was the best hotel we stayed in during our fortnight in India.
The service was exceptional. Our two very large rooms were beautiful, with block printed curtains. The bathrooms were huge and spotless.
The Breakfast was delicious and dinner was some of the very best we ate of our whole trip - faultless service. You can tell the owners live there - its a fabulous hotel.
The gardens were beautiful, and the swimming pool was lovely - an oasis in the middle of busy Jodhpur.
Loved my stay at Zostel Jodhpur I never prefer staying at Zostels but this one in particular has 'the vibe' all thanks to it's host BUNNY , honestly he makes sure that you are enjoying your time , he initiates heritage walks , dances in the evening so basically entertainment is toh full onn.
Bunny is the best host I have came across in my whole travelling experience.
Whereas the property is also great in terms of cleanliness, service and food.
Overall 5/5
One of the best hostels in India. The beds are big and comfy. The place is very clean and the service here is amazing. Mavesh and his son were very helpful and friendly.
Mavesh also makes the most delicious food for you to buy and eat on the beautiful rooftop. The food is well priced and I ended up having most of my meals here during the stay. Mavesh's son even made me a tasty dessert snack.
I would definitely recommend this place for you stay in Jodhpur.
Beautiful property.
Almost 200+ years old
Amazing hosting by owner Sam!
Very very warm welcome by him.
Their own cafe Sam's cafe is one of the best in Area.
Had the best food of Jodhpur at their cafe, too many things to offer, Amazing taste, very Good Portion.
Loved the Hospitality, Stay, Food.! A perfect stay!
Location is also in the heart of old city! Walkable distance to all key places to visit!
We have booked this guest house by looking at the ambience and after reaching there, we had no regret on our decision. It was the best budget friendly place to stay at while in Jodhpur. The Mehrangarh fort view from the rooftop is the most amazing thing about this place. And, the home-cooked food by the owner was damn delicious which I think is the main reason behind our stay 🤗
Great family, nice facilities, amazing food, cold beer, and an amazing view from the rooftop. The location is just under the fort and has to be one of the best in Jodhpur!
This is my last stop on a five-month trip, and staying here has been one of the highlights. Even added a couple days! Highly recommended and I hope to be back someday.
The Quietness in the room for us to rest as we are on holiday. As I was travelling alone they provided me comfort & safety which is great for a woman. The way they guide you is fantastic because who doesn't want to save money I followed their itinerary and found some of the best places in Jodhpur.
The hotel is run by great people. We had an idea of what we wanted to see in Jodhpur, but the host advised us in which order to do things to see the most in one day. That made our time in Jodhpur! And they told us where the best coffee is :) The view from the rooftop is great!
Boutique hotel close to train station. Very cute. We booked three rooms and all were different and very nice. The breakfast is fantastic. Both international and Indian options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also had dinner at the hotel and was delicious
Best breakfast ever! What a variety Radisson Jodhpur offers!
Also all the staff is very attentive. A big thank you to the staff in the restaurant and bar, as well at the reception and to the staff of the housekeeping!
Very beautiful hotel!
excellent property, well kept, better than the best branded other 5 star property of Jodhpur which was higher priced as I subsequently stayed in Taj Hari mahal. The food platter needs to be upgraded though to match Taj.
Its a heritage palace converted into hotel. Experience was unmatched and unlike any hotel we have ever stayed. We were upgraded to Royal Suite and the Room was huge. Entire palace has lot of history, paintings etc.
The best GuestHouse you can find in India! super clean, the stuff is Amazing and they are always down to help. I cannot thank them enough for making my stay in Jodhpur as fantastic as it was ❤️
It was like 5 star hotel experience.Exceptional hospitality, cleanliness and excellent ambience.
It was more than expected and first time ever we had such a lovely experience.
its old haveli ,converted to hotel.for every area you need to step up and step down inside room and out side room .
