Interesting hotel with themed bedrooms in a great location. Despite the buzzy atmosphere in the square my room on the top floor was really quiet. The upgrade to the Chinese- themed room was welcome and I had a sunken bath and a bed which went up and down. Also an amazing view over the roofs of Delft. Breakfast was good and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff.

Great location. Comfortable beds and friendly staff.
Fly to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, then take a direct train to Delft (60km, 40 minutes). Alternatively, from within Netherlands, use the extensive train network. For a scenic route, consider canal or river cruises.
The most convenient airport for Delft is Rotterdam The Hague Airport, due to its proximity and direct transport links. It's approximately 15 kilometres away, making it a quick and easy journey for both domestic and international travellers.
Delft, Netherlands, offers a variety of public transport options. The city's tram and bus services, operated by HTM, provide extensive coverage. Delft's central train station connects to major Dutch cities. Cycling is popular, with numerous bike rental shops available. Walking is feasible due to Delft's compact size. Driving is less recommended due to limited parking.
The historic city centre of Delft is the best area to stay, offering a blend of charming architecture, museums, and restaurants. It's also conveniently close to the main train station, providing easy access to other Dutch cities.
Beautiful Like a Porcelain Doll
Delft is a picturesque Dutch city with canals and historic buildings, situated between Rotterdam and The Hague. Birthplace of the famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, this destination is also home to the iconic Delft blue porcelain and the University of Technology.
Like a phoenix from the ashes, the 17th century Town Hall of Delft was destroyed on 1618 and rebuilt by the architect Hendrick de Keyser. Located across from the City Hall in the centre of the Market square, the Protestant church of Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) with the imposing tower is connected with the Dutch Royal Family.
Resting place for Piet Hein, Maarten Tromp and Johannes Vermeer, the Oude Kerk (Old Church) was built in 1240 and is one of the main landmarks of the city along with the Prinsenhof. Booking.com offers a variety of apartments and hotels in the centre of Delft.
The Delftware factories with the blue ceramics and the hand-painted porcelain are definitely something that travellers should not miss while visiting the Netherlands. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a local beer on a canal terrace.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 40 minutes away by car or public transport. Delft railway station has train connections to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Leiden.

Beautiful quiet little town midway between two major cities.
Beautiful quiet little town midway between two major cities. Consider staying here if your trip includes time in The Hague or Rotterdam: it's only a 15 minute train ride to either city and much less hectic (and less expensive). Highlight of our trip was climbing the windmill and seeing it actually operated - for free!

The town is so unique, churches to visit and beautiful squares surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Lovely places for brunch in the mornings and for beer in the evenings. The atmosphere in the evenings is wonderful. It is easy to get around on foot. the view from the New Church roof top is spectacular, tho the 300+ steps are not easy. Recommended eateries are Kek coffee and Delfts Brouwhuis

Delft is a nice size, easily walkable for the main part. Train station to the centre is 15-20 minutes maximum. Plenty of hotels, good restaurants of all cuisines, Dutch, Indonesian were ones we tried, but there are French, European, smaller snack-type bistros too. We spent just a couple days in Delft, but the Vermeer Centre and Museum Prinsenhof were well worthwhile, spent most of a day in each. We could have spent longer in Delft.

Central or old Delft is well worth a visit.
Central or old Delft is well worth a visit. It’s on a human scale. The two big churches are beautiful, the working windmill is charming and the Vermeer Centrum is interesting. We particularly enjoyed how peaceful the town is, with great crested grebes, coots and other waterfowl swimming in its serene canals. Cyclists outnumber motorists and the town has a youthful atmosphere owing to the university. Shops and restaurants offer very good products, food and service at reasonable prices. Above all, the people are very helpful and friendly.

Delft is a lovely place and I hope to take my wife next time as the food, bars and atmosphere in the centre was lovely.
The many bars and places to eat will suit most people and they are all (well the ones I tried) were reasonably priced. I will certainly go back again - and hopefully not involving a business trip.

lots of history and wealth, as well as blossoming tech research. loved the climb up the tower of the "new-church", scary, felt like touching the clouds. it was interesting to find out how local politics evolved around water management as a crucial part of life.
Warm and friendly family run hotel in a great location in Delft. Our triple room was spacious, with a well functioning bathroom, comfy beds and completely spotless. Located just a few minutes from the central markt, but really quiet and comfortable. They also let us safely secure our bikes on the hotel premises. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as there are lots of nice cafes and restaurants in Delft, so can’t comment on that. Would recommend this hotel unreservedly!
The location of the property was very close to the centre of Delft, everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was very good, very well presented, of good quality and generous. The apartment was spacious, quiet and comfortable. It was very clean. There were many thoughtful and welcoming touches. The hostesses were helpful and welcoming, they provided assistance on arrival showing us exactly where to park, where the shops are etc.
The breakfast room was lovely. They even have an out-door breakfast option in the garden. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. I so enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in Delft! The staff at the hotel was most helpful with any question I had, Delft itself is a dream of a town and the train connections are plenty for day trips to Den Haag, etc. The hotel attracts a very nice and curious clientele. Some guests bike to Den Hague from there.
Glad they had a room at the last moment, as we booked the day of. Excellent location on a lovely canal and lots of Vermeer reproductions throughout the hotel. Got a mansarda room with lovely rooftop views of the city. Great breakfast, good coffee that you order at the bar. When you park at Zuidpoort Garage Parking Delft (navigate to: Zuidwal 14), you get a discount on the daily rate when you pay at the hotel, which was convenient.
Hotel position is almost perfect as you can reach Delft center in few minutes walk; structure is new, clean and well designed.
Staff is very professional and available to solve any visitor request; restaurant service is very good even if menu is not so wide.
Rooms are very nice and clean and beds really comfortable.
Music theme is smart applied and not too invasive, so, it can be appreciated by non music lovers too.
The hotel is in a great location near all the landmarks of Delft and in proximity with several nice bars and restaurants. The hotel's building is very charming and the rooms on both sides have great views on either the Nieuwe Kerk or the canal. I recommend paying extra for the breakfast, as it was very much worth it. The rooms are for the most part spacious and well kept. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very attentive.
Breakfast was good every morning with adequate variety of choices.
Service for room was very good. Staff was always available. When we asked for anything I.e. extra towel, pillow, they were accommodating and friendly.
Sitting outside on the hotel bench was especially nice in the mornings or evenings because it was scenic and you could hear the church bells.
The Delft train station was a 10 min walk.
Very clean new hotel at a perfect location for visits to Delft, Den Haag, Scheveningen,... . The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent breakfast in a quiet atmosphere and very tasty food in the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Very comfortable, large and free parking. Perfect choice if you arrive in Delft by car.
Small hotel close to city centre and university campus in area with private houses and almost no traffic. They rented also out good quality dutch city bikes with hub gear and excellent dynamo lights. I rented one (€16.50/24h) - perfect for Delft as street lights are scarce and bike made everything 10 minutes or less away.
The hotel is well situated for the centre of Delft and generally satisfactory. My room was an enormous attic room, clean and comfortable. But note the third flight of stairs to the top level is precipitous and not to be attempted with anything more than a carry-on. The Greek restaurant next door is superb!
I really love the hotel! The hotel owner is so nice and thoughtful. He is always trying to help us. The breakfast is delicious, too! I would 100% recommend my friends to stay here when they will go to Delft.
Great, free and plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were clean and modern. 20 Mins walk into the city centre of Delft. Ikea right next door :-). Staff were super friendly.
Great place for such price. Big parking, 30 mins walk frim the city center of Delft. There is a nice restaurant near a hotel for dinner. The place is quite, our room had charming therrase
The hotel was even better than the pictures. The amenities were fantastic and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was incredible. Right near the train and centrum.
