The hotel is next to the beach and the view to the sea is nice. The meal at the hotel's restaurant was very good and without prior reservation. Spa is convenient.

Comfortable room, larger than other hotel rooms in The Hague.
Affordable parking.
Really liked the staff working in the hotel. They are always extremely polite, ready to help and smiling day and night.
I really enjoyed finding the "Rituals" products (shower gel, soap and shampoo.) in the bathroom.
Breakfast. I was in a hurry, so I got breakfast to go.
The Strandhotel is a small family hotel directly facing the beach. The cosy dining room with sea view is a wonderful way to start your day with a nice breakfast.

Very large suite with two rooms, kitchenette and very large bathroom. Very friendly and helpful ladies at the reception. Scheveningen is a suburb of a large city and can be reached by tram. The beach area at the Kurhaus and pier is almost overcrowded with lots of fun sports such as a very high zip wire and Bunjeetower, Ferris wheel. The beach section at the spa house and pier is not recommended for tourists who are spoilt by the island and are looking for a peace and quiet journey.

We liked walking along the beach boardwalk, walking around town, and we did a few tram trips away such as den Hague and Leiden for the Naturalis centre. We walked along the pier and that was sort of interesting; we didn't ride the ferris wheel. Getting around town is easy walking or tram. We had one meal at an Indian restaurant that was not so good. Otherwise, we had groceries and ate in our room. I wouldn't suggest Oct. as it is not beach weather but for sure less tourists.

We loved every moment staying on The Pier.
We loved every moment staying on The Pier. The view was fantastic, the room was clean and comfortable and we loved the special touches such as wine and chocolats wating for us every day, breakfast included and the staff were extremely helpful. The Boulevarde was long and exciting with lots of cafes and eateries. and the tram was available behind the Kurhaus and it was easy to travel to the Hague and back. We loved it and recommend that everyone should stay there at least once.

Scheveningen or Den Haag is a insider tip for people, who want to travel to the Netherlands. It is less crowded then Amsterdam, but just as interesting. The royal family of the Netherlands has their palace there, so you can feel some royal spirit in the city center. Also the National Parlarment, Europol and the International Court of Justice are located in Den Haag.

Gorgeous sunsets and you can walk for miles along the beach.
Gorgeous sunsets and you can walk for miles along the beach. The water was warm and there was plenty of room to find a quiet spot. All of the restaurants had delicious food and a wide variety of menu and seating options. The town is lovely and it is very easy to get around. Just a short tram ride to Den Haag which is a beautiful city in and of itself.

The town itself is busy but somewhat spread out.
The town itself is busy but somewhat spread out. There are three main areas - the new area where most of the hotels and restaurants are, the old area including the shopping street of Keizerstraat which is handy for almost everything, including a wide choice of restaurants, and the harbour. All three are linked to the city centre of Den Haag by three tram routes - 1 and 9 from the new area, 1 from Keizerstraat and 11 from the harbour area at the other end of Keizerstraat. Between Scheveningen and Den Haag lie the Scheveningse Bosjes, an attractive wooded area perfect for country strolls. Nearby attractions include the International Court of Justice (Vredespaleis) (there is an interesting visitor centre but to visit the Court itself you have to book well in advance) reachable by tram 1, and the model village of Madurodam reachable by tram 9.
Very friendly staff.
Very close to the beach.
Supermarket, cash mashine and any shop you need close.
Great TV channels, to be precise better TV channels than most 3 and 4 star hotels in the Netherlands.
The rooms are extremely clean.
It's a great place if you just need a room to sleep and are outside all day or maybe a few hours there to watch TV and eat.
If you want a own toilet and bathroom you need to pay a bit more... and then it's the best price here in Scheveringen, The Hague.
Nice basic hotel located by the sea, near Scheveningen centre and nearby public transportation. Room had all the features a backpacker needs, wifi was stable, room was clean and cleaning was made on daily basis. A buffet breakfast was included in the room rate and it was excellent add to the experience. Despite buffet isn't very huge it includes a versatile selection of cold and warm foods to get the day started. Outside of the hotel is a nice patio facing the sea.
It is a beautiful apartment close to the beach. It is right across the road from a tram- and bus stop, making it very easy to reach the city centre and Centraal Station. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We appreciated that there was salt, sugar and coffee available in the apartment.
Nice welcome we had. Very friendly staff. Pool was smaller then expected for such hotel at its size but was still fun for my daughter. It was warm enough. Location was perfect. We stayed 1 night but enjoyed it. The restaurant was excellent. We could go to movie late as the cinema was very close. Rich breakfast. The art inside was really nice.
The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities which we needed. There was on-site parking, and gaining entry was straightforward (unlike many apartments e have rented). The location is on a quiet road in a very nice residential area of Scheveningen but within easy reach of the beach. All in all a very enjoyable stay
The location was very easy to access from public transport and it was just an 8 minute walk from the famous Kurhaus in Scheveningen.
The building and they room were sweet, simple and comfortable, with all the needed amenities for a week stay—minus a washing machine in the room.
The hotel is located less than five minutes from the beach and boulevard, without being in a crowded area. Access by car is good, and the hotel has its own parking space.
The room was good for its purpose. There was even a mini-kitchen with microwave, though we did not use it.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull!
And the rooms were very clean.
The bed was also very comfortable.
The location is also fantastic. Very close to a tramstation and the beach.
And the parking next to the hotel was cheap and accesible.
In a place where all the hotels and buildings are ugly, Kurhaus is beautiful with a long history. The location is great, the staff is kind and the food at the restaurant delicious. We also enjoyed the pool and the sauna.
The hotel is very close to the sea side ( 5 minutes walk ) we went for Unox Nieuwjaarsduik Scheveningen, the staff is very warm and kind to let us have late check out due to the event, we truly appreciated :)
Nice room, little and very useful kitchen with all equipment needed, very good bed, clean room and bathroom, very nice location, in 5 minutes you can reach the beach and boulevard.
Very modern, agreeable hotel on the beach. Breakfast is ok, rooms and beds are very comfortable, facilities are ok, design is pleasing and contemporary.
