A perfect place to stay if you are in Borjomi region. Nice building, spacious common areas in the building, as well as in the restaurant and in the garden. All of the people working there are more than supportive and welcoming. The host speaks perfect English, so communication is easy. The breakfast was the best we got during our trip in Georgia. Everything that you can ask for (including an incredible Chacha for breakfast ;)) and all of it homemade. We also had dinner there every evening, because it was delicious and really comfortable. They also have a small library and a firesite. There was a corner with kids' toys and our son loved playing inside and outside.
They even stopped us from putting back all the toys in the evening and said we should just relax and they will tidy up later - that is a real holiday for parents :D
We will definitely recommend Rivendell to all of our friends and come back to Borjumi region at some time just because of this jewel of accommodation!

2. Delicious breakfast. There were diverse and really tasty meals for breakfast. I’m gonna come back only for it:)
3. Cleanness of the room.

In the charming town of Borjomi, a cable car offered a brief escape into nature's embrace. As it ascended, clean mountain air filled the cabins, carrying the fragrance of pine trees. The panoramic views revealed lush landscapes and the famous Borjomi mineral springs. Bathed in sunlight, the town's beauty left an indelible mark on passengers' hearts, making each cable car ride a journey into enchantment

Borjomi is a very small town with the main draw being the mountains and the park. 2 full days should be more than enough, even shorter if you use the jeep or pickup service instead of hoofing it on foot.
It also has a quaint little museum which details the history of the area in specific and has more of a focus on the wild life, contrasted with the more historical focus of other major Georgian museums.

A very beautiful town sitting in the bottom of a deep valley with actual sparkling water (yes it's carbonated) coming directly from the ground at several springs. Beautiful waterfalls, naturally hot sulphur spring baths and and a gorgeous river that wends its way through the deep ravine and forest in which Borjomi sits. Anyone from Russia will know Borjomi for its sparkling water but as a westerner, I had never heard of it.
The town is well worth a couple of days visit and has a rich and deep history. Whilst you are on your way there from Tbilisi, plan an afternoon stop at the cave town of Uplistsikhe too.

Borjomi is a beautiful town with views of the river and the surrounding mountains. It doesn't have many restaurants, I would recommend 'My House'.
It suits people that like to hike, there are multiple day hikes or longer hikes from Borjomi itself and the close villages.

If you love donuts, look for this shop called Rio and try the georgian donuts from there.
The hotel’s location is exceptional. It’s on the main street and a 1 minute walk away from Borjomi’s prime attraction, Borjomi Central Park.
The breathtaking view and the spacious balcony was what made us fall in love with the hotel. The sound of the flowing river and sight of the lush green trees give you a blissful feeling.
The staff was top notch. Extremely friendly. The owner, Dimitri, is an amazing and genuine person who is extremely service oriented. He made us feel welcomed and it was as if we had known him for ages.
Very professional reception... Easy 24-hour access... Spacious & clean room... Everything in the room worked well, including the Wi-Fi and shower... The location was good for me - off the main road in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a pretty good grocery/ food store just down the street. True, it is a bit of a walk to the town centre or Old Town Borjomi. But the location of the hotel on the booking.com map is correct so anyone staying here should not be surprised or squawk about it.
Nice view on the river, the location is conveniently located next to the bus stop and next to a supermarket, and the hotel owner and hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable!
Particularly the lady who prepared the breakfast was very nice and even helped us with translations and with finding the right Marshrutka towards our next destination.
Will definitely book the hotel again when coming back to Borjomi the next time!
The place is nice and the owner is friendly. She basically only speaks Georgian, but we got along OK. It's pretty clean and cozy and right next to the bus station and shopping area. A little bit far from the central park and the tourist area, about 20 min walk, but the neighborhood is quiet. The best thing is the veranda (balcony), was chilling there all the time, it's really great! Overall good experience.
This is a beautiful place with a great location and wonderful service. Very modern and clean. Stuff were professional, friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect, everything was walking distance. And if you are lazy to go for food they have delicious restaurant downstairs with variety food from traditional Georgian to European! I would defiantly come back and recommend this place. Thank you
Dimitri went above and beyond to make sure our stay at Borjomi UnderWood is a comfortable, pleasant, and memorable experience. We also absolutely enjoyed the jacuzzi and comfortable beds. The hotel is conveniently located in short walking proximity to Borjomi Central Park where the warm water spring is located. We highly recommend staying at this property.
The location is perfect. It's near the river and there are walls of mountains around, which makes the view just perfect. The host is amazing, he gave us wine as a present, and it set the mood. Just imagine sitting on a balcony with a mountain view and drinking tasty Georgian wine - pure pleasure the hotel is full of.

This small family hotel is a great way to experience Georgian hospitality. Breakfast can rival any five star hotel breakfast but with home made Khachapuri and pastries. Owner was super welcoming and offered his home made wine and honey. Rooms are large, clean and with balconies with chairs and table.
Our Russian-speaking hosts were very gracious and friendly. The meals they served were delicious and probably the most abundant we experienced in Georgia--a country where hospitality is nearly always very generous. The rooms were very large, and the furnishings comfortable and/or elegant.
The place was located in a wonderful spot of the Borjomi, it was cozy and clean with a nice terrace and yard and a real barbecue!
More than the place itself, the owner and his family were kind and friendly more than imagination! Better than any Georgian that I’ve met
This facility is located close to Borjomi central park. The hotel owner carried our luggages to the top floors as it has no lifts. Breakfast was excellent too. While checking out he has given us many water bottles for the day. Recommended facility for families.
David, the host was the best host we had in Georgia. He greeted us at the bus stop and he was always available for every question we had. The room was very clean, bright, warm and quiet.
I definetely recommend when in Borjomi, stay at Goghichas tower :)
I really enjoyed Staying at the Borjomi Classic Hotel. The place looks even more beautiful in person. It has a traditional look yet still feels modern. The owner was very warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good as well.
The location of the hotel is great, just near the central park of Borjomi what was very convinient. The spa is very pampering, a great way to spend a day! The food at the restaurant is delicious, both breakfast and lunch.
Hotel is centrally located in Borjomi, has a nice view from the balcony on the mountains and the river. Borjomi center is near, famous Borjomi central park also near, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.
Good location, very friendly staff and owner - would always recommend this hotel for a stay in Borjomi! We can only recommend to make some hikes or at least the Likani trail in the adjacent National Park.
