Nice town. I studied at University Science Malaysia so always been on this side very often due to the ferry and bus service. A lot has changed in the past 20 years but still, some of the old sceneries and buildings were there such as the Convent School, The Hospital and the Indian temples.

I used to came here for working purpose.
I loved the local food here, reasonable price and variety of foods.
I loved to walk in the supermarket besides the Sunway Carnival Mall.
I've found a lot of Chinese food in Jalan Chai Leng.
Besides, there are many factory in Perai area also, many lorries, makes the road not so smooth.
The room was just right not too big n not too small. Breakfast was ok but my grandson was dissapointed that he could not have his favourite sausage which he had on our previous stay. But overall the breakfast was ok. Parking was quite a downfall as we took grab to come back to hotel but was not able to entre cos they require a RM10 value on the touch n go.. so we had to drop outside the hotel and walk in... but after that incident we told who ever is driving us back to make sure that they have a value of RM10 in their touch n go card.
No Breakfast in the hotel but many restaurant available in the area including pizza and secret recipe.
I really appreciate the staff on duty on my checkout day 21st morning. I also forgot my laptop bag and the Indian staff on duty managed to call me and remind me that I have left the bag in the hotel. He kept it for me until I came back and retrieved it. I really appreciate the sincerity of the staff and the entire Masson Hotel team.
1. The unit is very clean. I am allergic to dusts so usually even hotel rooms can trigger my allergy, but it didnt happened with ur unit, so I am convinced the whole unit is very clean ⭐
2. The beds and pillows are very comfy (love the pillows).
3. Bathrooms and leisure area are good too.
4. Very close to oasiseye specialist, like 1 minute drive? This is the reason we chose the unit.
I like everything about the hotel but my favourite part was the breakfast buffet.Variety of food choices and tasty.
Besides, the staff were very polite and helpful.I will absolutely stay in this hotel again for my next trip to Penang.
My last site for the day was Sunway Carnival mall, which happened to be just opposite the hotel. It was very convenient for me, and for the dinner, I just walk down and right beside is famous nasi kandar. Lift are extraordinary!

We loved the how the frontdesk greet us on our arrival. A comfortable room , clean bathroom and safe parking space at the hotel. The location is also great as it was surrounded by many restaurants. We had a relaxing stay!!
Room size/decoration and toilet cleanliness.
In-room dining also super delicious and affordable. Seems like, harga makanan warung, rasa makanan hotel. Really suggested their special nasi goreng and their carbonara pasta.
The bed and mattress provided is enough for 8 person although only 1 bedroom. Have a comfortable stay at nice and simple modern house. Easy to checkin and checkout. The location is near the penang's bridge.
