Perfekt läge nära både centrum, hav och centralstationen.
Helsingborg is one of Sweden’s oldest cities and is strategically located on the narrowest part of the Öresund strait. The Kärnan tower was part of a Danish fortress which used to control sea traffic, and views from the top stretch to Helsingør on the other side. Today, ferries regularly make the short trip across to Denmark and it is a Helsingborg tradition to have dinner on them, an act known as ’tura’.
Although the port forms much of the attractive waterfront, Helsingborg still has several beaches. One is lined by a wooden boardwalk, and the sandy Tropical Beach is under the shade of palm trees.
Norra Hamnen has been regenerated from a dock to modern yacht marina, overlooked by apartments, restaurants and bars. One of these is in Dunkers Culture House, an arts centre designed by the son of the Sydney Opera House architect.
The town hall clocktower is one of the most prominent landmarks and Kullagatan was the country’s first pedestrian shopping street. Väla is one of Scandinavia’s largest shopping centres and north-west is Sofiero Palace whose beautiful gardens are packed with blooming rhododendrons. In 18th-century Ramlösa Park mineral water springs emerge from red rock.
Booking.com’s Helsingborg accommodation includes luxury hotels, cheap hostels by the train station and B&Bs near Ängelholm-Helsingborg Airport.

A lovely city.
A lovely city. Slottshagen is a small castle a few hundred meters from the ferry & train station, and during daytime hours, you can pay to go to the top for a nice view of the area. A couple of kilometers from there is Fredriksdal Park, which is a fantastic park and open-air museum. It features a historical mini-folk village that simulates life a century ago, and is very educational, plus farm animals, a botanical garden, and overall great experience for families. This park can easily take a whole day. I wish we could have spent more time in Helsingborg.

Nice city core with old houses.
Nice city core with old houses. Lots of nice pubs, restaurants and cafés. Brewskival beer festival with a very relaxed atmosphere. Taking the ferry to Helsingör/Elsinore ("tura"). Taking the ferry for a day trip to the small island of Ven is also highly recommended.

Good transport links.
Good transport links. Green bus travel- make sure you have a payment card per person. Travelled with husband and had a personal card that we loaded with the currency, to use during stay. Husband used the card to get a ticket and passed the card to me to swipe. Driver said 1 card- 1 person. Good job I had a bank card I could use!! Don't get caught out. No problem on the yellow buses though.

Pålsjöbaden the best state owned sauna on the sea!!
Best on winter when the sea is rough and dangerous. You can watch the container and cruising ships passing by.

Our visit to Helsingborg was totally spoilt due to the problem my son had with his rooms. His first room was not cleaned properly, he found a used tissue inside the toilet roll when he used it, also the mattress was filthy and it stunk. They moved him to another room right by to the elevator, it was noisy so he did not have a good night's sleep, we have complained with the desk, they told us to send a manager an email, we have still not received a reply
The location of the hotel is arguably the best in Helsingborg, right on top of the railway station and the ferry terminal to Denmark.
My room was very nice, with a great seaside view of the harbour and the town hall.
The high point of this hotel is the marvellous breakfast, with everything that you could possibly want, fresh and readily available.
A special mention of the breakfast staff – friendly, quick and nimble, even when the place was crowded. An excellent example of organisation skills.
Front desk staff also very nice and helpful.
The hotel is super children friendly. A lot of board games, a play room, welcome drinks for free for children and a small pool were just great. For us the location was perfect but it is a bit out of the city. The rooms were clean, nice and quiet. I was truly happy with this choice. I did not expect the hotel would be this nice. Also the personnel were great. The breakfast was rich, with many available options. Recommended!
The room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was like an old hotel in France..a certain decadence which we liked. The parking (once the app was downloaded) was cheap and easy. The young lady on the desk was also very efficient and in a very pleasant way. We were in Helsingborg in order to visit Louisiana Museum in Denmark. The hotel was perfectly situated for the ferry.
Convenient and easy to find location. Close to the ferry station and local sites. Plenty of restaurant choices. As long as you understand budget hotels, it is a good choice, just bring your own toiletries. The staff is super friendly and quickly available on the phone if needed. Super nice to have smart TV and Netflix, nice to relax with after a long day of seeing sites.
A great new hotel at the gateway of Helsingborg. Beautiful design, attentive staff, very tasty and varied breakfast. The view of the city from the rooftop bar - it's wow! Thanks for the hospitality, the weekend was great!
A very cozy Hotel just opposite the railway station .
Rooms are spacious and comfortable . Good breakfast .
A nice courtyard , where you can have your free afternooncoffee or tea .
Amazing friendly and helpful staff .
Beautifully decorated with warm, welcoming colours and ambience. The location and layout of the hotel was perfect for us who visited Helsingborg for the first time… The Vault made us want to visit the city more!!
Great location, friendly staff! Our room was very nice, very spacious, and very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast options were quite lovely! Wonderful art throughout the hotel.
Central location, about 100 meters from the Central station of Helsingborg. The prices were fair when you just need a place to sleep. The breakfast was more than OK actually!
The flat was very spacious and well equipped. It was close to a nice park and it was walking distance into town. There was a great baker and a good supermarket close by.
I did enjoyed my stay here for 3 nights. Great view and has a nice location. I will definitely come back again and would recommend this hotel to my friends.
Oskar was just great at the reception. Very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful hotel in the best location possible in Helsingborg. Very good breakfast, too.
