An excellent base for exploring all parts of that area of Switzerland but requires a car or use of public transport to get to the main sites and scenery. We use it as a great value base for exploring by car and you'd be hard pressed to beat it for quality and value in that capacity.

Our room was ok, the shower was fantastically powerful! The towels and bed linen were spotlessly clean. We very much enjoyed our breakfast, wonderful coffee, delicious cheeses, meats, yogurts, breads, pastries, preserves and fresh peaches. The hotel has a great restaurant. Quite pricy though. But it is Switzerland, so you have to count with that. Staff was super friendly.
