The ibis hotel is very close to the airport, the room that was assigned to me was tiny but confortable for one or two people, the toilette is really small.

Nice bedroom and a good private bathroom with an excellent shower. The hotel has a bar which it needs as there is no eating or drinking facilities in the immediate area. The barman, Andreas, was very polite and friendly.

Disabled travellers need to be sure they get a room with appropriate facilities. Acknowledging a request is not good enough. The exact nature of bathroom accessibility should be clear - e.g. whether space for a wheelchair for transfer to shower seat and WC; Position of grab rails and drop-down handrails.

I booked this hotel because my sister uses a wheelchair and we were visiting crufts at the NEC therefore we wanted to be as close to it as possible. when they built the hotel they had no consideration for people in wheelchairs making the journey from the hotel to the nearby beautiful lake and on around to the NEC center.

Whilst i believe the hotel is being renovated, the carpets in the bedroom were filthy. Looked like workmen had been in there with their dirty boots. Breakfast was terrible, Did not have no choice, we were asked what we wanted. When it arrived the sausage and bacon were under cooked.
Would not stay here again.

Terrible room.
Terrible room. The shower was separate to the toilet and there was nowhere to dry yourself in the shower. Consequently my partner slipped and fell, resulting in a massive bruise. No mats provided.
I will not be returning.

Staff were friendly and helpful . Room comfortable bed.
Staff were friendly and helpful . Room comfortable bed. Disappointed that hand wash and shower gel were empty considering price of room .
Breakfast £18 expensive but a lot of choice .
Waited along time to check in .
All the staff we met were excellent and the hotel was in the ideal location for us as we had an early flight.
It was clean, comfortable enough for one night and had a compact shower . It was perfect.
Excellent service from Lorenzo in the dining room , food choice of food although it is expensive and my fish and chips were not the best by any means. My sister's meal was much nicer! . All in all it is ideal , no stress in the early hours if catching a flight at that time of day.
Me and my boyfriend booked to come here for a one night stay, we enjoyed the hotel & staff that much we booked for an next night (it was a bank holiday) the staff are lovely & friendly, John the night manger helped us out with booking us an extra night stay. The staff go above and beyond there duties to ensure the customers are happy and enjoy there stay here. Rachel the bar manager makes the best cocktails iv had in a long time.
We were flying from Birmingham International Airport the next day at 6am therefore we booked the hotel the night before. Excellent proximity to the airport taking five minutes to walk from the hotel to the terminal. We never had the breakfast as we left the hotel at 3am for our flight - check in was three hours before the flight.
The hotel room was comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was basic but ok.
The room was a decent size, bathroom was OK, water pressure was fine. The amenities in the room were good. The beds were relatively comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There is an onsite gym, swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room that you can use by booking at reception. The hotel is close to the airport, Birmingham train station and the NEC which was perfect for us.
The hotel i situated close to the airport. The monorail brings you in 5 min to Birmingham international for free. The breakfast was tasty. The renovation og the hotel and rooms is noticeable. The room was comfortable, cosy and clean (with ironing board and fine hairdryer). The concierge (white-haired man) was EXTREMELY KIND!!! As well the cleaning mail staff on 5th floor was very supporive.
The hotel was amazing. We arrived and they upgraded us a level, the room was amazing. It was my 60th birthday the next day and the staff especially the breakfast team birthday cake and Prosecco for breakfast and they sang happy birthday to me. The hotel is perfectly placed for Birmingham airport and it made a really good start to the holiday. Thank you to all of the staff their.
The location of the hotel is very convenient for the concert hall. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The lobby was very beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great pool and saunas as well! We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend this place.
Location is fantastic for Birmingham airport. Loved the on-site restaurants and access to the car park, all under one roof. The reception, rooms and bathrooms were all lovely and spotless. We will definitely book the Genting Hotel again for any future visits to Birmingham airport.
Very friendly welcome. We were early in Birmingham, went to the hotel to drop off our luggage, very quick and efficient.
The rooms are large and well equiped. Hotel is perfectly situated near the airport and by using public transport Birmingham is nearby too.
Room was nice and clean, staff were most helpful, food at the hotel was nice and reasonably priced.. 8 min walk to a free Mono rail which took us into Birmingham Airport, car park was £10 per night at the ibis car park.
Would stay here again..
The hotel has all you need for a home like stay. I love the attentiveness and super helpful staff. Close proximity to the airport which helped out connection. The room was clean and adequate. Always book it when transiting through Birmingham
Birmingham airport hotel (Ibis Budget). Room was more basic than expected for the price, the Mattress on the bed was very poor, and would not compare to cheaper hotels such as Travel lodge or Premier Inn Hotels,
