I like the large bedroom and the fact that the bathroom was not directly off the bedroom but off the small corridor leading to the bedroom. I also liked the french window opening onto the garden, and the heavy curtains that kept out the light. The bathroom had both a shower cubicle and a separate bathtub, which was nice.

We loved the Loft, our only regret was we only stayed there one night. It's very comfortable with space to relax and cook. Great aspect onto fields from the balcony at the back. Really quite delightful.

Carrickfergus is famous for its Norman castle and keep. The range of shops is not great , but there is a proliferation of chemists! The Marine Highway is great for a good long walk with views of Belfast Lough.

The views from the sea front and walks really good. A visit to the castle is a must if you like history. For value for money on food there is a wetherspoons and couldn't go wrong. There is a local train station to get to most places and very easy to use, much better than driving especially in to Belfast.JosephineUnited Kingdom

The best add on is the beautiful bar next door who belongs to the same owner, the food is great and they have live music which only adds to the experience with the friendly and open staff! Walter takes amazing care of the place and it was lovely meeting him learning more about his place. Highly recommended!

It was my favourite stay during my 2 week trip in Ireland/Northern Ireland!

Hosts were lovely - really friendly and helpful and our little man enjoyed getting to know the dogs, horses & fish!
