We had the shared kitchen largely to ourselves. It was a lovely spot to sit and read in the sun.

The staff: great people, that were supportive from the first moment. We had a problem with our first room and they did all they could to improve our stay. For the second night they even changed our room with a better one.
The breakfast: good and somewhat fancy (in a good note). You have good options to choose from, and the breakfast is really good and plentiful.
Clean bedsheets.
The parking: it has its own parking and the staff helped us to get a parking spot.

The room itself was spotless, a big plus for any traveller. More importantly, the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep once the noise subsided (be aware of potential thin walls). An additional delightful touch was the well-stocked tea tray. It was a thoughtful amenity that allowed me to wind down and enjoy a relaxing cuppa in the comfort of my room. The reception staff was lovely thought our stay.

Lovely clean and comfortable room with modern facilities. Although the hotel did not provide breakfast, there is a coffee shop next to the hotel, which provides good breakfast and coffee. Fort William as a town needs investment, depending on why you are there I suppose would change your opinion.

Night time especially week night useless.

Fort William was as nice as usual however please note certain businesses are only open during tourist season. We also enjoyed filling up on the gondolas at Nevis Range. I must say though, try and avoid Caledonia hotel. The toilet was like what you get in a nursery and my private parts in the water. Carpet threadbare, wallpaper coming off the walls due to dampness, a very uncomfortable bed, adjoining door that we were not made aware of. Electricity was off on arrival and due to my dust allergies and at 3pm the room had not been cleaned, we left and checked in later. There was still dirt in the room and at the top of the bed, I caughed thru the night both nights. When it rained you could hear a loud drip from within the wall cavity. I'm not a confrontational person and didn't feel comfortable bringing the issues up with reception, so just be warned. The lift was out of order too. Beware room 220!!! Such shame being a brilliant location .

Fort William is a nice little town very well located.
Fort William is a nice little town very well located. It's ten minutes away from Ben Nevis and 45mn from Glencoe ski resort. Before that, you have all the Glencoe mountains to explore. There are still a lot to do during winter, even if snow sports are not an option due to lack of snow and/or high winds. You have the West Highland Museum, a brand new movie theatre, the Ben Nevis distillery, an indoor climbing centre, etc.

Fort William is beautiful and has lots of areas to check out within a short drive. A great place to stay and visit the Harry Potter sites (by car) plus the views are spectacular. We also enjoyed plenty of the bars and cafes and enjoyed a night at the local cinema too.
I don't think I've ever seen a place so clean and well maintained. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. I had everything I needed to be comfortable and had a sufficient amount of privacy even though some areas are shared. The WiFi was excellent. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. I walked from Fort William (40 minutes), but there are busses that run back and forth fairly frequently.
The hotel is located in a great spot along the water in Fort William. The building itself is beautiful and the staff we're extremely friendly. Our room was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. It was a bit on the small side but we were only staying for a night so that wasn't a real issue. If we were staying for longer I could see the room size becoming more of a factor when it comes to comfort.
The location in Fort Williams was excellent, near attractions, transportation, and a grocery store. Check in information was emailed, accurate, so no worries there. Overall, the one room was clean. No bed bugs or other unfriendlies. Given that other rooms sold for $250+ this room was half the price, so from a cost perspective, it was reasonable.
The hotel was very good value for money and the breakfast definitely made it worth every penny. The staff Rose Anne and Vanessa ( didn't get the bar man's name )were very attentive. The staff also helped me to locate the tourism office to know which sights were worth seeing in Fort William. Rooms were very comfortable.
The hotel is nicely located just a few minutes walking from the center of Fort William. Lots of restautant nearby. The Hotel itself has a large restaurant were you can eat in the evening. The breakfast was very good. Rooms are modern, very clean, with all the needed amenities.
I can compare our stay as that of a 3-star hotel. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They were able to provide suggestions to queries about Fort William. The house and room were very clean and smelled lovely, including the fresh flowers along the hallway.
A very nice and cost effective hotel close to Fort William, very friendly staff and beautiful views from the breakfast area/some rooms of the lake. There is a bus going to town, so being a bit further away from Fort William was not a problem.
Location is on the outskirts of Fort William so you need to take that into account
The breakfast was first class Served in a lovely breakfasting room Cooked to perfection with plenty to choose from Much better than some hotels
This hotel is located at one end of Fort William's main pedestrianised street, near the train station, yet it has a well-sized car park too. The hotel is comfortable and the breakfast was good. The hotel was good value.
I did like all around Fort William, Glencooo ....an amazing place to visit. I did love the Scottish Bull.
I did love dinner at night in the restaurant the Stable grill. I recomend and I will definitely back.
Murthy Fort William Hotel sits across the street from the sea and is close to the main shopping street. I had a sea view after I complained to the front desk about the previous room.
Lovely staff, only 10 minutes walk to Fort William City Centre! Great pubs , restaurants etc. We were lucky to have drinks and then dinner on a big terrace at the Ben Nevis hotel!
Good place to stay for a nights stop over in Fort William. Felt more of a small hotel rather than a B&B but provided everything you needed all the same and a good breakfast.
It was a very clean apartment, location was excellent for hikers in the Fort William area, also kitchen had everything to make your own meals, loved the coffee maker.
