Lisburn is a nice town with plenty of shops and places to eat. Most of the attractions are closed this time of year but the local park is well worth a nice walk around and the town itself has a friendly atmosphere. If driving, there is a one way system in place which can be a little confusing to navigate at times but it is well serviced with public transport.

Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports.
Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports. It offers plenty of restaurants, services and shops. It's also a thriving community with churches, schools, hospital, charity shops and parks, including a river walk and castle grounds plus a linen museum. Bigger shops such M&S and B&Q are on the outskirts. But the little proprietary shops are gems.
There are frequent buses and trains to Belfast if you need a city (and nightlife) and some gorgeous parks not far by car. There are plenty of B&Bs in the farmlands around Lisburn but if you stay in Lisburn itself you won't need a car.

Great location for me in pandemic situation as it allowed me to visit my 85 year old mother for the first time in 18 months providing some respite for my sister while allowing me to meet the government guidelines. Comfortable property. Warm and cosy with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Private parking was a bonus.
Everything is done to an exceptional standard with high quality furnishings and finish throughout. The property is perfectly clean, fantastic breakfast, and has friendly and helpful hosts. The location is very convenient just a few minutes drive to several surrounding towns, not far to both international airport and Belfast city centre, while being situated in peaceful countryside with stunning views all around. It is clear that Jim really cares about providing a top quality service and really goes the extra mile for his guests.
Lovely wee clean apartment, stayed with my partner and 2 kids. We had a lovely experience, Paddy and Una were so hospitable, lovely friendly hosts.
They really went above and beyond, from leaving a bottle of wine and a few beers for us to having a great selection of food in the fridge and cupboard, it made travelling with kids so easy and it was like a home from home.
The area is lovely and quiet with great views of Belfast at night, alot of activities within driving distance.
Definitely a 10/10 experience
Absolutely Fantastic Stay ! House was spotless, so cosy yet plenty of room for our toddler to run about during our stay. Great Value for money in this house !
Most definitely will return if in Northern Ireland again. Land lady was there to show us around when we arrived and told us she was next door if needed. Ideal base for us to explore Belfast for a couple of days. could not recommend highly enough.
Lovely B&B in every way. Beautiful location, large rooms, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds. John was a great host who went above and beyond. He's a good cook and his breakfasts were the best in NI. John was extremely helpful with information about trains to Belfast, restaurants in Belfast and restaurants in nearby Moira. He even had some tips for less visited sights along the North Coast.
Stayed here as a stop off. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was spotless. The staff couldn't of been nicer. It was a very short drive to Belfast City. Stunning views from the restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. Actually considered cancelling our hotel in the city to stay here longer instead but they were booked up.
the staff was lovely, the room was comfy and I enjoyed a nice breakfast the next morning. It is located not to far from Belfast (30mn of bus), the train station is close and can bring you to the city center. the room is warm and well equipped, I had a short but lovely stay, thank you!
Very clean and pleasant staff members, and breakfast is included which is nicely served in the morning. The property consists of other amenities such as en-suite, shared lounge and dining area and a garden. It is very good value for money motel and is all that a person needs.
Loved the location. Very close to Belfast and it's airport as well as Lisburn itself. The house was adequate for our needs. It was fully equipped for a self catering stay. The log fire was a greatful extra especially if you go in the cooler months.
The hotel was excellent. The rooms are a very good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was was big, very clean and bright. The location was perfect. We will definitely stay there again.
Very nice setting. Easy to get in and out. Very pleasant hosts. Knowledgeable about local restaurants and pubs. Very pretty gardens and landscaping. It felt like being home.
nice place to stay for a few days: close to the train station and the city center. In a 10/15 minutes you can reach Belfast by train and the train services are really good!
excellent location, 30 min from Belfast, 1.5 hours from the dark hedges. very nicely set up, clean and comfortable. price was very reasonable and the host was super kind.
