Very central, the communication was good from the owner and this made collecting the keys really easy. The accommodation was roomy with a few of the basics provided free of charge which was a nice touch. Granted parking is limited but this was fully explained and I was able to find free parking close by. All in all, a happy trip and would recommend.

We liked that the local parking we used for the van was even accessible for campers. The community was really friendly, lots of people with dogs going about their day. The local Booths was a great place to get meals. We liked the kitchen so much that we didn’t go out for food locally but both pubs in the area looked quality! The roads there are small but manageable and that’s the feeling you want from a place like that anyway. I like that ours close enough for a day out around Malham. The crag walk at the top of the village also suffices for a viewpoint.

Great little town with good amenities.
Great little town with good amenities. Lot of great walks nearby. The Talbot pub good atmosphere and food, the Old naked man cafe and shop is good but have a look down the backstreets for small local independents. A walk along the river and into nearby Giggleswick is worth a visit, find Russel Harty's grave in Giggleswick church yard and have a pint in the Black Horse next door

Settle is a lovely and friendly market town.
Settle is a lovely and friendly market town. There are lots of great places to eat - the sit-in fish and chip shop was wonderful and Sunday lunch at the Golden Lion was great value. There are walks, of all ability levels, from the town and the Victoria Hall offers great live entertainment. There are some nice independent shops, great local butcher, as well as a couple of good supermarkets. All in all, a great place to visit.

There are lots of shops, except charity ones, just Age Concern and Swimming Baths ones. Plenty cafes, pubs, good chippy {Fisherman} but locals are not friendly. Dislike tourists? Come from Clitheroe and locals TALK to them. Not here.
Great value for money, superb, it's an old building so don't expect the ritz, all the facilities were spotless, (the towels were fantastic) the staff are amazing particularly Matty who never seems to stop, nothing is to much trouble and breakfast is great as are the evening meals and very reasonably priced, Settle is a lovely village with some great pubs and restaurants, would like to say it is so nice that dogs are genuinely welcome not just at the Royal Oak but everywhere, really enjoyed our stay....Thank you....
Lovely cosy house. Everything we needed and more. Space for the two of us (two good friends) who had come to the area for the three peaks. Quiet neighbourhood and parking available too. The house was just a few strides away from a local footpath along the river into Settle and had a small back garden with views of the riverside and (when the leaves drop from the trees) the fells. The host was really lovely and made contact with lots of information.
Lovely quiet location tucked away from the road with gorgeous view of Penyghent and hills from bedroom. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Large living room and dining area. Well equipped kitchen. Close to station if travelling by train. Friendly owner lives next door if you need anything. Horton is a picturesque village where many people start the 3 peaks but we went to Chapel le Dale which was an easy journey.
Breakfast was very good. Hosts were very friendly. Lovely big room & ensuite. Spacious & comfortable guest lounge with lots of maps & walking guide books. to borrow. Log burner for winter time. Fabulous views. Very quiet and peaceful. Walks straight from the door. B&B is in a small hamlet (no through road), so no passing road noise. Easy to find. Plenty of places to eat wihin a few miles (Settle).
Giggleswick is an attractive village and it was a pleasant walk into Settle town centre and railway station. The hotel is a fine, old stone building. Parking was convenient and free. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom reasonably large, with a bath. The breakfast choice was pretty good, with a vegan option, and the food was very well cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect. We especially enjoyed an evening event at the Settle Victoria Hall! We didn’t know about this prior to our arrival there. Lovely restaurants and grocery nearby. A very comfortable place to spend a few days. Another surprise was to visit Giggleswick, just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. Also very close to the train station and the bus stop.
Beautiful house in a beautiful village. The house is full of character and has been renovated stylishly to a very high standard. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and was immaculately clean. A great location for exploring the area. Easy to walk to settle and close to the amazing Ribblehead viaduct.
The building itself is very attractive. The pub area is also cozy and clean. The staff were professional and polite. They placed us in a larger room since we were staying for bit. Provided extra drinking glasses upon request. The walking trail through the pasture near the property was a wonderful find.
Dinner (not included) and breakfast (included) were both excellent, with a good selection of beer at the bar. The manager (Michelle) and all staff were very friendly and helpful, steering us to the Settle Social Club where we could watch a football match we were interested in.
Excellent location with all facilities nearby - supermarket, pub, eateries and petrol. Easy access for all the surrounding sightseeing. Quiet area, lovely comfortable bed and amazing soft pillows. Ideal base for exploring the dales. Looking forward to returning in August.
Warm and cozy B&B. The hosts, Jackie and Chris were so lovely and helpful. Perfect breakfast! They have a lot of choices that you can choose from. My room was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking around Settle. Private car park. Highly recommended!!!
Great location for getting out into the dales. Great hotel and staff and a great price. Large room with nice large window and seat, looking out onto the road. Staff really nice and friendly made me feel at home. Room is modern and well decorated.
Had a wonderful stay at the Falcon Manor. Stunning building, lovely room and delicious dinner and breakfast in a beautiful setting. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to returning later in the year. Best hotel in Settle.

The location is very central in Settle and provides really good access to explore the area.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Very cosy - traditional decor.
Food delicious
Breakfast was good, cooked to order and a good choice. I wasn’t cycling but saw that there is space for bikes in a safe area outside. This would make me chose this hotel again
