Friendly staff
Very clean & comfortable room
Easy to get too, just off the M40
Good value for money
I stayed here as I was flying early out of Heathrow the following morning. The drive onwards to Heathrow took around 40 minutes, so was a good option rather than a long overnight drive!
This beautifully renovated inn has comfy, modern rooms with air conditioning. The Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel is near junction 6 of the M40, on the borders of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

I had a lovely stay although very short as travelling and staying for work purposes. However the bath plug did not fit and kept emptying the bath. All staff were very pleasent and helpful where needed.

Great town for the day and an overnight stay, but probably lots to do if you wanted an extra night. There are a lot of excellent pubs that also serve food and some decent shops. Very attractive high street and places of interest close by. Everything within walking distance of our hotel The Spread Eagle

Thame is beautiful and historical.
Thame is beautiful and historical. A variety of venues for eating to cater for all tastes and budgets. A lovely market on Tuesdays. The Midsomer guided tour took longer than advertised but was packed with information about the venues used in the series as well as local history

Delightful market town with a good market on Tuesdays.
Delightful market town with a good market on Tuesdays. Parking was free and we sampled a couple of local venues for food and refreshments. Town centre is compact and easy to walk around and the Parish Church was open for visits and private prayer.
We enjoyed eating at the La Caravella and the Six Bells and enjoyed good quality food and friendly service at both. Rumseys for hot chocolate is a must!

Although we did`nt have time to fully explore Thame and immediate surrounds we were impressed with the towns nice atmosphere and variety of shops (especially the independents) pubs and restaurants. We particularly liked the thatch house and the james figg pub.Parking was very good and credit to the council for not imposing parking fees.
Well located for Thame and the M40. We were dining at Le Manoir which is only two miles away, so convenient.
We received a warm welcome along with a freshly baked cookie.
The hotel is modern, accessible and communal areas are nicely decorated. Lovely inner courtyards and nice bar areas.
The room was a fairly good size. Good shower/toiletries/fluffy towels. The bed was comfortable. A good supply of coat hangers in the wardrobe, also good supply of coffee/tea/milk and complimentary spring water.
The whole experience was so very pleasant. First I was welcomed by Lynn, who, very politely showed me where reception was. Once in reception, I was upgraded to a garden room by Uwais, another very friendly and professional member of staff. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, bed and bathroom were huge!!! Then outside the room you have your own garden/patio area. I was blown away!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Ideal accommodation to stay for visiting Thame and surrounding area, including Waddesdon Manor. Safe and secure parking and very close to al the Thame facilities. On Thame, it has a Tourist Information in the Town Hall having closed the Tourist Information office but not removed the signs!
The apartment was clean, comfortable and warm and easy to relax in.
We were given a very warm welcome at the pub bar and returned later for a drink and to take advantage of the fire. The location was excellent for our jazz night in Thame and had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was reasonable. The room looked lovely and had a big shower in the ensuite.
Quirky older hotel. Comfy beds, good full english breakfast. Central location. I got a garden suite with a downstairs seating area and fabulous large upstairs room. Was a bit cold to sit out still but would be great in summer.
The breakfast (not included in price) was lovely. Plenty of choice, yet fresh cooked. My room was comfortable, though not overly big (didn't need to be for one night stay). Free parking right next to the hotel.
country, cosy pub with a warm welcome. friendly and helpful staff. beds very comfortable and tasty full English breakfast. beautiful large beer garden in quiet village close to the Chilterns and Thame
Lovely, well equipped and well thought out accommodation.
Very clean and comfortable.
Quiet private location, a short drive into Thame, 40 minutes to Oxford.
Lovely sunset and sunrise views.
Great location for exploring Thame and Oxford.
The hot tub and outdoor areas are amazing to have.
Added extras such as airer, robes, out door seats were a great addition to our last stay.
Good sized room, comfortable bed and good bathroom. We wished we had booked this hotel in the first place as our first choice, Travelodge, cancelled our room at 8pm on the night of arrival
The property was spacious and convenient for where we were working. Communication regarding access to the property was very good. Thame has plenty of places to eat and drink.
Lovely stay in Oxfordshire. Rooms as described, airy and bright. Easy check in process. Excellent breakfast (not included but worth the extra few quid!)
Very good location for visiting Oxfordshire. Very nice and clean room with a lovely view at the back. Good pub adjacent to the rooms. Would visit again.
Easy check in and check out. Probably one of the quickest we've ever experienced at a hotel. Just what we needed after a long journey.
Very good value.
