Rooms were spacious and quiet and comfortable. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, so much choice! Although there were lots of events, you couldn't hear them from the rooms.

Very clean and spacious room with all expected amenities, kettle and good selection of tea and coffee, cooked breakfast was excellent, and dinner (one steak and the seabass), although dessert selection was somewhat sparse, did met our expectation. Good parking facilities. This venue is good to chill out and relax.

The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I was a little dissapointed that the manager who checked me in on arrival, did not recognise me at check out.

Since the 16th century, The Spread Eagle has hosted historic guests such as King Charles II and the writer Evelyn Waugh. Today it offers a warm welcome, excellent food and free Wi-Fi.

Friendly staff Very clean & comfortable room Easy to get too, just off the M40 Good value for money I stayed here as I was flying early out of Heathrow the following morning. The drive onwards to Heathrow took around 40 minutes, so was a good option rather than a long overnight drive!

The bedroom carpet was dirty. The left side bedroom light did not work. I would have liked a box of tissues and shower cap. Breakfast was a bit chaotic. The staff seemed overwhelmed. The hot water for the tea came out at a trickle from the machine.
