Everything was amazing! The bungalows are nice and clean (they clean your room and change your towels every three days), they offer free coffee, toast and water. It is far from the centre but it’s not a problem if you have a bike.

We absolutely loved our stay! Gabrio was an incredible host whose communication (before, during, and after our stay) was excellent and he even helped arrange a rental car/motorbike for us to use. The villa and the views themselves are as stunning as the photos show and we especially loved that we were close enough to walk to the beach but still had a feeling of being by itself off on a local street. Jaeb and her son were wonderful in-house staff- I recommend taking advantage of her delicious cooking!

Our stay in The Mud was a wonderful experience. The hotel and its architecture were fantastic, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Kik, Miou and Mike in the reception were mist helpful and we became good friends. The restaurant staff, house keeping and gardeners are also very friendly. We enjoyed the rich breakfast and the evening meals with live music, very tasty meals in relaxing atmosphere and with super view. We highly recommend a stay in this wonderful hotel. The distance to the next village is about 6 km. We rented a motor bike and this was the best decision ever!KretaclaudiGreece - 10Scored 10

The location of the place was very good. Host was always available to answer our queries and was willing to help us any time we needed help. Offered her services for dropping us at the bus stand after our check out. Went out of her way to help us to see that our stay was comfortable

The hotel was really nice - the whole area was just pleasant to be in as the hotel is surrounded by water everywhere. As we had our honey moon the hotel staff made sure our room is close to the beach even though it was just a standard room. In comparison with other hotels in that area, great value for money! And the staff - soo kind, helpful and friendly!:) Free yoga and water aerobics classes, canoeing and snorkeling so we really felt that the price we paid was more than worth the facilities and service we got. The food in the restaurant was good but we also chose to go to the city nearby and eat at the local market Thai local specialties (very cheap btw).

Weather was bad during our stay but I can imagine this being a heaven on earth when there is no wind or rain. Location for us as a couple was amazing, laid back, no people on the beach, great and well priced places to eat and also some supermarkets close. The villas are simple but very comfortable, and the private pool is just lovely. You’re right on the ocean and facing sunset for 10/10 views. Breakfast was also delicious, out overlooking the ocean (vegan friendly!) It’s also so nice to be away from the crowds and chaos of the other beaches. It’s very quiet and relaxing. If we come back we will 100% stay here again.
