The establishment is super beautiful and relaxing, stuff is kind and helpful.
If you wanna chill and resourcing time for yourself is a perfect place to be.
It’s situated in a very green area, surrounded by jungles but keep in mind it’s far from a center, you need 30 minutes by taxi.
There are some nice restaurants around but for parties you may grab a cab.
The water in the shower and sink has disgusting taste. Sometimes were hard to wash well my hair and for tooth brushing you may use a drink water.

Great place. Reviews are accurate. Scooter hire was great. Taxi service was good if a bit expensive.
An absolute highlight was watching the sunset at SOM Restaurant each night. It’s one of the few well-priced authentic Thai restaurants on the beach side of the road, and it’s just down from the property.

Everything was amazing! The bungalows are nice and clean (they clean your room and change your towels every three days), they offer free coffee, toast and water. It is far from the centre but it’s not a problem if you have a bike.

Our stay in The Mud was a wonderful experience. The hotel and its architecture were fantastic, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Kik, Miou and Mike in the reception were mist helpful and we became good friends. The restaurant staff, house keeping and gardeners are also very friendly. We enjoyed the rich breakfast and the evening meals with live music, very tasty meals in relaxing atmosphere and with super view. We highly recommend a stay in this wonderful hotel. The distance to the next village is about 6 km. We rented a motor bike and this was the best decision ever!KretaclaudiGreece - 10Scored 10

The location of the place was very good. Host was always available to answer our queries and was willing to help us any time we needed help. Offered her services for dropping us at the bus stand after our check out. Went out of her way to help us to see that our stay was comfortable

The hotel was really nice - the whole area was just pleasant to be in as the hotel is surrounded by water everywhere. As we had our honey moon the hotel staff made sure our room is close to the beach even though it was just a standard room. In comparison with other hotels in that area, great value for money! And the staff - soo kind, helpful and friendly!:) Free yoga and water aerobics classes, canoeing and snorkeling so we really felt that the price we paid was more than worth the facilities and service we got. The food in the restaurant was good but we also chose to go to the city nearby and eat at the local market Thai local specialties (very cheap btw).

The villas are simple but very comfortable, and the private pool is just lovely. You’re right on the ocean and facing sunset for 10/10 views. Breakfast was also delicious, out overlooking the ocean (vegan friendly!) It’s also so nice to be away from the crowds and chaos of the other beaches. It’s very quiet and relaxing. If we come back we will 100% stay here again.
