Cadiz is a beautiful city, among the oldest in Europe.
Cadiz is a beautiful city, among the oldest in Europe. The people are very friendly and the views are stunning. We visited here after visiting Madrid and it was a breath of fresh air. Beautiful narrow streets without the crowds. The market is a great place to sample the local seafood. The train station is a short walk to the town center and from there, you can visit nearby Jerez, Cordoba or Seville. There are also beautiful beaches.

Cadiz is lovely, first impression I thought it was a bit tired and run down but the more I saw the more I loved it. It really has everything, beautiful beaches, a fabulous old town, and lots of sights to see. Great cafe culture. Better for the more mature traveller which suited us fine. No music blasting out or nightclubs that I was aware of. Very authentic Spain. The city is vast but has a very good transport network.

This is a wonderful place; we never ventured outside of the old town - why would you. Yes there are tourist traps a plenty for the cruise ships etc but with a little thought one can easily find very authentic traditional places to eat and drink with wonderful friendly staff. The Roman theatre is a MUST see.

The kitchen is well stocked, the bedroom felt spacious and there was always plenty of hot water. The host was super with communication via WhatsApp and in person through google translate. They offered a garage spot for 10€ a day as well. The kitchen was stocked with treats: water, wine, amazing bread, cookies, fruit and more! And the price was so reasonable. Terrific value.

The hotel is amazing, worth 4 stars! The receptionist took care of a warm welcome and recommended what to see and where to eat in Cadiz. The room was spaceous, comfortable, well-equipped and perfectly clean - a very good value for money. The breakfast was delicious, something for every taste. A reasonably priced parking is located nearby, jusy a few minutes walk.
