Vibrant Mix of Culture and History
Stretched along the Oder River in south-west Poland, Wroclaw still remains a relatively undiscovered gem. The city’s stunning architecture, its vibrant cultural scene and popular events have something for everyone.
Severely destroyed in 1945, Wroclaw was beautifully restored and became one of the country’s highlights. Its Old Town, with one of the largest town squares in Europe, attracts tourists with colourful town houses, cosy pubs and street stalls.
Make sure to visit the Ostrow Tumski, known also as the Cathedral Island, featuring the impressive Wroclaw Cathedral from the mid-10th century and romantic cobble-stoned streets with oil lamps hand-lit every night. Alternatively, see a famous 360-degree view painting of the Battle of Raclawice - the Raclawice Panorama.
For a breath of fresh air, take a walk in the Szczytnicki Park where the famous Japanese Garden, a remainder from the World Expo held in Wroclaw in 1913, awaits you with its contemplative and quiet atmosphere. This is a great spot to relax before hitting the popular bars and clubs in the city centre.
If you arrive at Wroclaw International Airport, all major attractions are just a short bus ride away. Whether you're looking for a stylish hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly hostel, Booking.com has something perfect for your Wroclaw holiday!
Wroclaw is a fantastic city. One of Europe's hidden gems and in some ways I'm happy it has not been ruined by 'over tourism'.
It is one of the most beautiful and historic places you could hope to visit, with an abundance of architecture , culture and galleries.
The old town, Market square (Rynek) and the Cathedral district are a must see. There is a linear park almost encircling the entire old centre.
For those who want to party there are many clubs and pubs, from mainstream, to dance and rock.
Plenty of good places to eat to fit any budget.
It's a vibrant, cool university city that has a perfect blend of modernity and old fashioned charm. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful architecture, very friendly, helpful people.
Very beautiful architecture, very friendly, helpful people. The road circling the Old Town is very wide with frightening traffic and far too few crossing points. The crossings also took an eternity to call pedestrians to cross. The car is king which is such a shame, Wroclaw would be almost perfect.

The weather was very warm.
The weather was very warm. We used Bolt app to travel out side the city. Very cheap and efficient. Beautiful places to visit in the city. We found the people unfriendly and very little had English. It's recommended to bring cash but every where we went they didn't have change. There was no customer service or eye contact made with us. It's not well sign posted and everything is in Polish. We would be totally lost without Google maps. It doesn't cater for tourists

There are many young people in the city, pretty old town, there are many things to see, and delicious food to try. We have tried local food in Konspira, it was delicious and authentic. And we were in one of the best rated escape room in the world - Exit19 "Abandoned Hotel". It was an amazing experience!

Coming to Wroclaw for a big project meeting and leaving with many fond memories of the city and our hosts. Exploring the city with a guided tour, was a good way to learn about a friendly welcoming town and its rich history, and it was a great way to learn about Polish cuisine as well.
The city had a relaxed atmosphere on a warm almost summery day in April, and offered many sights to explore and learn more about.
The location of this hotel was great. A few minutes walk from the market square and had a small shop across the road for supplies. The room was large, clean and sound proof. We did not hear any doors banging or the music in the hall. The hairdryer in the hotel was powerful and shampoo, body wash and moisturiser was available.
We took a taxi to get to the airport at 5.30am which the hotel staff kindly booked for us. This arrived on time and was £20 (100 Zloty).
Very impressive standard of hotel. 5 star in most countries. Excellent and well presented breakfast - pity that a lot of the guests couldn't make the effort to dress respectful to the efforts of the well-presented staff and furnishings. Sweaty vests, flipflops and shorts/swimwear, are for the beach or hostels. Excellent standard of room/ensuite, with the bonus of a bathtub and plenty of hot water. Easy walk from the (106) bus, to and from the airport.
The Bridge is modern, fairly new and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Poland and Europe overall. The hotel's Craft Restaurant also has wonderfully delicious dishes. Walking distance to the Old Town Center is about 20 minutes. The hotel celebrated our adult son's birthday with a welcome dessert and prosecco which was totally unexpected! Free masks and hand sanitizer were also in every room.
We did not expect much from the ONLY airport hotel in Wroclaw but were pleasantly surprised. it was very clean, had a comfy bed (not too hard, which I hate), the staff were extremely friendly and the dinner was perhaps the best we had in four days on our trip. there is a decent wine list too. I have never had such a good meal and service at an airport hotel. Not even close.
By far the best place we stayed in Wrocław, maybe even Poland. This apartment has everything you need, and more. It's sparkling clean, cozy, amazingly maintained and very quiet. The bed was most comfortable, same as the sofa and rocking chair. Netflix's account is a nice addition. Swift, pleasant and professional communication with the host was just the icing on the cake.
This was my second time in the Scandic and I was even more impressed the second time round. the breakfast is the best I have experienced in all my travels. It fills you up for the day. the location is super for train travel, bus to the airport, and walking into the old town. Plus right behind the hotel is a thriving social scene. Thinking of going again next year.
The Patio is quite a small hotel and very quiet as it shares premises with offices which are closed evenings and weekends. It's a 5 minute walk to the main square, with many restaurants and bars. Right in the old town, plenty to see and do. Breakfast is exceptional. Rooms very spacious and comfortable and we were upgraded to an apartment - even better!
Beautiful hotel, luxury rooms.Loved the bathroom and electric windows and curtains. Very comfortable stay and everything catered for. Very conveniently located to all local sights, Old Town and train station. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the glass of sparkling wine on arrival was a nice touch. Great value 5 star hotel.
Amazing apartment about a 15-minute walk from the old town of Breslau. The owner was really great and wanted to show everything he made of the apartment (which we loved). He put a lot of thought and his heart into decorating and was well beyond the expectations. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the city.
Unlike in other hotels of this price range, the soap was of the best quality (Dove), the choice of thee was nice too. Finally there were 2 bottles of quality water (wit and without gaz) for free in the chamber. The heating was stable and of a good temperature - very confortable for Poland in November!
We loved it all. Great location, clean and spacious apartment with everything you might need (and looking exactly like on the photos), peace of not being bothered by hotel staff. The parking under the building feels secure and is also quite cheap in comparison to other options in the centre.
Everything was great. Situated far enough from the old town to make arriving easy (and free parking!), but has a tram station right outside and only a few minutes to Rynek. Super clean and comfortable. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Staff was warm, welcoming and helpful.
perfect location, there is no hotel in Wrcolaw with a comparable location in terms of proximity to the old town market square, this apartment is on the square literally!
large flat, nice beds
nice equioment, kitchen brand new
bathroom spacious
Location was great, a 5 minute walk to the old town square, tram right atop right outside the hotel doors, we got free cake on check in, also had umbrella’s to use and spare adaptors for charger. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Room is spacious, beds are comfortable, breakfast was great, old town square is less than 5 mins by walk from the hotel. We used the sauna in the hotel and it was private. Great value and friendly staff at the front desk:)
I needed a hotel away from Wroclaw city centre, and this was the best option. Nice hotel with cozy rooms and good restaurant. Plenty of parking space, breakfast included. No doubt I will stay here again
The hotel was very close to the center of the old town which was where the Christmas markets are, which was why we chose it. They provide luggage storage for your check in and check out day.
Brilliant Hotel, very quiet, super spacious and clean, comfy ambience and last but not least super friendly staff! The breakfast is the best I ever had in a hotel!
Generally a nice clean hotel. A reasonable walk to the main old town of Wroclaw. The room was of a good standard and clean. The staff were friendly and polite.
