It’s a good hub to explore other parts of the Llanos.
It’s a good hub to explore other parts of the Llanos. To get an introduction to Llanos culture go to the Malokas park. We also visited Ocaros biopark which has a lot of local fauna on display. Although the animals seem well treated the park needs an update to bring it up to today’s standards. Liked nature hikes at Bosque de Bavaria (but most people do not know where it is), Trips to Restrepo to Altos de Caney Rips to Carmen nature reserve. The main shopping mall close to the Hotel. The warm weather. Did not like:Lack of road signage,even lack of signs indicating the road to Bogota.Without my GPS in the car,finding places is very difficult.

The climate was ideal and the surrounding countrry side beautiful. We spent time at the various rivers around Restrepo and hiked in the Altos de Caney area. We visited the bioparc in Villavo. We ate at the Wyndham Gardens and various restaurants around Restrepo (Pardo Rojo,Picaderia for good meat etc). It is not easy to get around Villavo,as directions and signage is very poor or absent.LeonColombia - 10Scored 10

amazing city. You can go to “la piedra del Amor” where u can see the whole city. There are small towns near by where the food is amazing like A “Restrepo “ y “acacias” . Very easy to take a cab and get around , very cheap.

It is in fact probably the best place in Villavicencio where you can stay and relax in a beautiful green place with mountain view and yet you are close to everything, you can even walk downtown.
