I stayed in Campinas for 2.5 weeks. The first 2 we were in Cambui which is a lovely area in Campinas. It is safe and has lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The last few days we stayed in Barao Geraldo which is the area around Unicamp. This too is a nice area with shops, restaurants and bars. We rented a car which made it easy to get around. People in Campinas are very friendly. Most people do not speak English but they will bend over backwards to help you out.CharlotteUnited States

It is a pod hotel (also not clear from the review) and the pods are tiny. luckily I was travelling on my own because if my wife had been with me, she would have freaked. Hotel is clean but room is REALLY SMALL. I am only 6 foot tall but the bed is wedged between front and back walls in the pod and my head was touching one side and my feet the other.
