Very beautiful historic city, great restaurants all over the place. Wonderful base for hikes in the Diamantina Mountains. Book tours from local companies, without a car it is challenging to get to the trailheads; we used Diamantina Mountains as our operator and were completely satisfied !

Lençóis is a place worth getting to know. The city is safe and makes you feel like home. People are kind and will make an effort for an enjoyable stay. I was very lucky with the travel agency I picked: Nas Alturas. I highly reccomend it.

It’s super isolated in nature but if you shop and wanna just stay in nature it’s cool. There is no pool - it’s a pond and unless you like the brown tea water of Lencois then you won’t spend time in the water. It’s not unhealthy but I’m used to clear water so it wasn’t really something we enjoyed. Again - if you’re ok with that it’s not bad - just not our style - we like clean water. The place is super cute tho!

The owner and the cook are very kind. Breakfast is very tasty with a lot if fresh fruits. I was allowed to stay after check out time, while waiting for the bus. The owner took me by car to the bus station. The location of the hotel is just 3 min from the centre a-from where most of the tours to Chapada Diamantina start. I wormly recommend this hotel.

They provided invaluable local knowledge and tips about our activities each day, suggesting additional things to see or restaurants to try. The breakfast was delicious each day, made to order, fresh, and filling. The location is a three minute walk to the Lençóis city centre and is very safe (as is the entire city centre). There's on-street parking out front monitored by camera. Definitely recommended!

The hostel is located 3 to 5 minutes walking to the center and it’s really quiet. The staff is wonderful! They helped us with all of our questions, they are really nice and interested in their guests. We always had a nice chat with them and they recommended nice places around Lençóis. I felt save walking in the area and I liked sitting on the front terrace in the evening watching people go by. The host arranged a guide who helped a lot to make the most of our stay. Eventhough we did not speak portuguese, they all went to great lenght to communicate. I got a nice experience in Lencois because of that.SonjaSuriname

It is somewhat difficult to locate, but Caio will make himelf available via WhatApp to assist you find the place. The setting is spectacular in the middle of a lush hilly area. The breakfast was truly exceptional - something you would expect in a five star hotel

Laércio, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, and gave us plenty of nice recommendations for tours. The location is also really close to Lençóis center, making it easy to explore the city.
