Very beautiful historic city, great restaurants all over the place. Wonderful base for hikes in the Diamantina Mountains. Book tours from local companies, without a car it is challenging to get to the trailheads; we used Diamantina Mountains as our operator and were completely satisfied !

Lençóis is a place worth getting to know. The city is safe and makes you feel like home. People are kind and will make an effort for an enjoyable stay. I was very lucky with the travel agency I picked: Nas Alturas. I highly reccomend it.

It’s super isolated in nature but if you shop and wanna just stay in nature it’s cool. There is no pool - it’s a pond and unless you like the brown tea water of Lencois then you won’t spend time in the water. It’s not unhealthy but I’m used to clear water so it wasn’t really something we enjoyed. Again - if you’re ok with that it’s not bad - just not our style - we like clean water. The place is super cute tho!

The outside patio had a few hammocks for us to lay on and had a beautiful garden with bananas and a downstairs lounge to hang out. It was a quiet hotel and it was very quaint. I really appreciate the helpfulness of this stuff when I had lost my phone and they found a driver that was going to the airport to bring it to us before our flight. They helped resolve the issue quickly and smoothly and without worry! I highly recommend this hotel.MatthisUnited States

The family running this pousada are very warm-hearted, open persons with whom we always had nice and interesting conversations. The breakfast is very diverse and always made fresh by them with lots of love. In addition, the son of the famílie, Junio, is an excellent guide. He is always punctual and he shows you Chapada Diamantinha through his how eyes. We really recommend this pousada for an amazing stay in Lencois!SophieEcuador

Hosts Jonatan and Monique were extremely gracious and accommodating, the room was comfortable and quiet, and their breakfasts were the best I had during my nearly 3 week stay in Brazil. The hospedaria is just a couple of minutes on foot from the center of town with its bustling restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend and stay again if my path (hopefully) takes to me to the area again.RicardoUnited States

I am in love with the roof terrace! There are two big beds - one up there by the roof top terrace. The kitchen has almost everything a regular home normally has. You can contact them anytime and they are ready to help you with whatever you need!! They offered to bring our luggage to the busstation so we didn’t have to carry it ourselves, as the location of the hotel is a bit up hill. Furthermore the rooms are specious and super clean. It’s a bit away from the centre but that’s why the garden is beautiful to chill and birds singing in the morning is nice.
