Amazing place to rest, have fun, brilliant for families. The city has great history, wonderful beaches. It's neither the best nor worst season to visit Porto Seguro, everyday was raining a couple of hours some part of day or night. Despite that once it's not high season the city was much more calm and for those who appreciate some local Bahia colours it was much more notorious than at high season.
Moreover the local spots was working much of them, and without high crowds a more pleasant visit can be taken.

Very pretty town with many touristic attractions (Highlights: Historic City Center on top of the Cliffs; beautiful views; Replica of Cabral's Caravel; Passarela; Balsa crossing to Arrail d'Adjuda; ca 30 km to the Aldeia of the Patajó do Jaqueira). Beautiful white beaches.

Porto Seguro itself it's not the best of the places, i prefer Arraial d'Ajuda. I've been to Porto Seguro 20 years ago, and it seems the place didn't changed, i was expecting some improvements. But it's good culturally to know the place where Brasil was found by the europeans.

safe and tranquil, classy.
safe and tranquil, classy. But go to Arraila d'Ajuda. this is the neighborhood that is the most highly sought after. it is a fun ride with your car or bike or walking on a blast ( barge ) 2 minutes and you are in paradise, the best beaches and the hippest center and restaurants and shops. Remember, Porto Seguro is the city where the airport is but in 15 minutes you will be in paradise where the action is in Arrail d'Ajuda!

I was seeking for a place to relax and some places in Porto Seguro were great. Coroa Vermelha, Arraial da Ajuda and Trancoso were great places to relax and chill with the family. There are also some places that annoyed me but people with no child that looks for loud music, dance and party would like to visit.
1. Spaciousness: The vastness of the hotel provides a sense of grandeur.
2. Attentive Staff: The team at Shalimar is commendable for their helpfulness and prompt service.
3. Tranquil Pool Area: The beautifully designed pool area serves as a perfect relaxation spot.
4. Quality Internet Connection: The internet service was reliable throughout my stay, facilitating easy connectivity.
5. Delightful Breakfast: The breakfast spread was diverse and satisfying.
My experience in the Hostel Terra do Sol was amazing. Extemely clean, really good vibes, with a lot of space and a swimming pool, near to the beach, near to the supermarket and easy to reach by uber from Porto Seguro. I felt so well, that I didn't want to leave and so I extented my booking. Looking forward to go back to visit Amanda and Rodrigo, the owner of the hostels. They are really welcoming and take care of every host. Highly recommended! :D
The house is great and it has everything you need for a long or short stay. It has also a big fenced garden outside where a shared pool can be used. Near the pool there is a great BBQ area.
The place is walking distance (about 5min) from a supermarket and 7/8 min from the beach. The area is a bit far from Porto Seguro central but it's close to many good beach clubs (as the beach clubs are not close to the center of Porto Seguro).
Room was clean and comfortable. Good bed and TV. Nice porch to relax on. Great breakfast. Decent kitchen if you want to cook, and there’s a supermarket a mile or 2 away. The property itself is beautiful, especially at night, and has a laid back resort vibe. I think some of the people staying there never left the hotel, it’s a nice place to just chill with family. Friendly attentive service.
Michelle is a very kind person! I booked in this hostel 2 times and she even helped ones to cancel the reservation for free because I made a mistake. That’s why I booked again the hostel when I was back to Porto Seguro and I never regretted it! The rooms are clean and comfortable and again Michelle is very kind and welcoming! Thank you very much again! Definitely recommended! :)
The location of the hotel is very good, close to shops, restaurantes, pubs, supermarkt etc. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The size is the room is good, comfortable, gas shower (very good and warm). The breakfast super good with lots of options. The hotel also has their own restaurant, self service style, very tasty and good price.
Next to the beach, the hotel location is also super convenient regarding the main bus station of Porto Seguro and its airport, both at 15 minutes drive. The staff is very friendly and even organized transport for us. The pool is also very nice and the breakfast excellent.
place does not egzist at the address provided ...there hotel and there is pousado ... hotel is nt there ...even then they went ahead and charged me for stay ...booking.com is a rippof...i will not use them anymore
The hotel is in the center, near the beach, near the airport also, easy to find.
the breakfast with lots of options and mainly with traditional food from Bahia.
The staff was very helpful also.
the hotel was overbooked. They offered us another one, less confortable, smaller (originally we booked a 22m room and they didnt gave us that size).
I want the hotel to reimburse me the money
Forget everything I’ve said until now about cleanliness of any hotel, hostel, resort and so forth. This house is in another level. Also the staff very friendly and helpful even for Bahia.
I really like to dance, so the location (in front of Toa Toa) was perfect. The pool was big and nice and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
