Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, HOT water, very clean! Staff at the front desk were super helpful with any request. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice (if you get there on the earlier side!)

We liked the fast Wifi, the breakfast, the big bathroom with good hot shower pressure and the private parking. The room’s size was very comfortable. Also the hotel has a tiny convenience store which was very handy.

Fantastic staff that made you feel welcome. Quiet neighborhood and has a super comfortable bed and room. Excellent value for basic accommodations. I would stay here again.

Be careful of buying things from the artists in the park (and anywhere). When you pay them with money, use coins and not bills. When you’re not looking, they will switch bills and claim you gave them a fake bill. Next thing you know, the police arrive and you go before the judge. No charges will be filed but you’ll have to come back to fight the charges on a later date (20 days to 6 months). Remember your visa is only good for 30 days. Good luck !

I only visit for 2 nights to enable visit to sponsored children through World Vision, so cannot judge Oruro for itself, but enjoy visiting local market, buying provisions, & sampling "Api", local Maize drink, & "Bunuelos" - sort of large inflated pancake - both delicious -
Also originally on 1st visit, sampled "Charkecan" - local typical dish of Llama meat with potatoes, hard boiled egg, etc, but unfortunately 2nd time made me very ill, so warning - be careful of restaurant!!
Oruro growing v fast, & seems like a construction site, quite chaotic, plenty of stray/street dogs roaming loose.
Surrounding hinterland/countryside V interesting - God´s given country, with herds of Llamas & wild horses, goats & sheep, & cultivation of potatoes & other basic commodities

In the City of Oruro, you should visit the Socavon museum, the cableway station and the Socavo'n virgin monument. About the food, I can visit Nayjama Restaurant or taste the traditional Charquekan in 6 de Agosto avenue and Ayacucho street.
The hotel is in a great location, right next to the cable car and only a few blocks from the main square. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a nice large room on the 6th floor with comfortable beds and plenty of blankets. The room was lovely and warm, once we had worked out how to operate the gas fire, and it was good to have a fridge in the room. The WiFi was great for most of our visit, but it was poor on the final day for some reason. Breakfast was fine on day 1, but there was very little choice on day 2.
This place is terrible.
Parking tiny, I booked for two rooms and on arrival, the lady was like "I have no idea what reservation you are talking about", then, after contacting some manager, she was like "oh I only have one room queen size", I was like, its 5 of us, that wont work, so her final answer was "sorry, it was the administrator's fault, he dropped the ball, I have nothing to do with that", worst hotel I ve ever been, plus the construction is outdated, terrible experienc
Spacious, modern, cozy apartment with everything we need. Big TV, hair dryer, big hot water tank, good quality bed linens all made our stay so comfortable. Big private terrace is definitely another bonus, we like having breakfast and afternoon tea there.
Location is good. Not far from central market and main plaza.
The host is so nice. We reached Oruro bus terminal at 6am, and he allowed us to check in early at 8am.
We had wonderful 3 days here. Highly recommend it.
The location is good right on the main Plaza. The breakfast was nice and restaurant staff were friendly and eager to please.
The hotel has a weird design with 2 lifts each accessing different floors.
There isn’t enough air flow with just 2 small windows and no fan or air con. It was stuffy and stifling to try and sleep.
Parking was secure.
The hotel is tired ( definitely not 5 star as promoted) A 3 star at best.
Friendly and caring staff! They greeted me with great hospitality. Upon check-in Fabiola and Liz were very helpful, attentive and catered to every need. They were able to provide some great suggestions during my stay. They made me feel at home. The service at Graciela Hostal was exceptional. I will definitely book here again anytime I visit Oruro City. Five plus stars
Staff could not have been more helpful - I ended up in Oruro after an issue with my buses. My next bus wasn't until later the next day, I was poorly, and they allowed me to have a late check out. They stored my luggage too, but also allowed me to sit in reception for a while to sort my travel plans out. Great breakfast too! Thank you for your kind hospitality.
It was cheap, we only needed a stop over for the night so chose somewhere close to the bus station. We didn't realise that there are 2 bus stations though, this hotel is within 5 mins of the old bus station so you can get minibuses from there the new bus station services buses which was about 15-20mins in a car away.
We are so happy with our stay here. The owners/staff are very sweet and accommodating. My wife was not feeling well during our stay and they brought us tea and crackers, which was very kind of them. The hotel was very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, there was hot water, and breakfast was good.
We liked the fast Wifi, the breakfast, the big bathroom with good hot shower pressure and the private parking. The room’s size was very comfortable. Also the hotel has a tiny convenience store which was very handy.
