We had the Jordan pass and boked for 3 days to go into Petra. We arrived in the afternoon at 4 p.m. so walked in to the Treasury, we then went in for the whole day and then on our last morning walked in the backway. there are lots of places to eat in Wadi Musa and reasonably priced. The museum is worth going into. we got a donkey up to the monastery which was a very exciting experience and then walked down. It is worth visiting.RuthUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Plan a stay for at least 2 days and a night. Do not get food near the visitor center, it is expensive. Get it from one of the restaurant a km away, called downtown by the folk. Like mehrbash or Falafel place.

Wadi Musa is the town that surrounds Petra, a historic place not to miss. Also in Wadi Musa is the rock that Moses ( Musa) hit with his staff and water miraculously formed. Petra is AMAZING, there's absolutely nothing to complain...
Petra is AMAZING, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Wadi Musa itself is a mall place with a few restaurants. Please are amazing and very polite, as in the rest of the country. The only issue a whole place has is the water - it does not flow well. Hence, the bathrooms need to be used with caution and use very low pressure as the higher one can make it wet for days. A recommendation for a good restaurant would be Mr. Falafel in The Tourist Street. A huge hug for the owner - Rami! Greetings from Serbia 🇷🇸

Petra is a great place to visit as it is one of the wonders of the ancient world. The moment we come out of siq( canyon type rock cut way) and see the Treasury , it has a magical experience. The Petra visit combined with Wadi Rum are excellent combination in souther Jordan- certainly worth visiting.Singh

The manager, Rasheed, is the kindest person we met in Jordan (and there is a lot of competition for that!). There is nothing that he cant do for you, and it really makes your experience and stay all the better. He even allowed us to go to Petra first thing in the morning by providing a lunch box as a replacement for breakfast (not all hotels in the area do this). The room was really spacious and clean, and the location is about 15/20 minute walk to Petra entrance.

Amazing lounge in the 5th floor with a great view on Wadi Musa and the possibility to see stunning sunsets.
