I booked this hotel as a one-night stop over because it was near the airport, and though I arrived very late, the shuttle was waiting for me. It hotel was expensive but it was also peak season. I hired a taxi to take me the four miles to the glacier the next morning since I had some spare time before my plane departed. That was a very worthwhile trip. Got in a great hike and took some beautiful photos.

Friendly people.
Friendly people. You can go up the tram more than once on the same day. Bus service. Food is good. Tour to glacier was interesting but expected to be able to take any bus back. I didn't walk to the falls as I would have been rushed to much as was told the walk is a mile there. But, we had to get back to catch the same bus.

I wasn't prepared for five cruise ships and all those people in a small town. It was wall to wall people, and it was hard to get into the restaurants and stores. And you really couldn't wait until they got back on the ships since everything closed at 8:00pm. The whale watching was spectacular, so I would definitely come back because of that, but I would stay farther from town and rent a car next time. We weren't able to go to Mendenhall Glacier since they ran out of passes, so you could only get as close as 2 miles if you were using public transportation. That is another reason for renting a car since they don't need a pass. Folks aren't really friendly in Juneau, their attitude is if you don't like it, go somewhere else, since they know you can't due to being landlocked.

The people very friendly and helpful.
The people very friendly and helpful. The whale watching and glacier trip good value as we saw lots of humpback whales and glacier interesting. Tram trip we felt expensive and deceptive for this time of year as the trails were too dangerous for the majority of people to walk on, lovely views but basically 50 dollars each to get a photo.

It’s a basic hotel.
It’s a basic hotel. Cost 150.00 total out of season late October. It’s expensive in season. There is a good breakfast dinner short walk right behind hotel. It’s between downtown and the rest of Juneau.
Beautiful location in the hilly part of downtown.
House has hand carved, no nails, pieces of furniture original to house. The hosts are good cooks, knowledgeable about Juneau & Alaska, and fun storytellers! There is an abundance of art, games, books, Alaska reference books, and things to borrow like walking sticks, while in the house and area. Coffee, tea, wine, snacks are available as well, which became important!!! Breakfast at 8:00am with other guests was fun.
Rooms were very spacious. Bedding was comfortable and check-in and check-out was easy. Nice location and not far from the downtown area with lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel does have a restaurant onsite, and we ate there for breakfast and it was very good! Once again, we were shocked at how spacious the rooms were. No A/C in our room but we had a fan that we placed by the window and it brought in plenty of the Alaskan cool air during the night.
I think that the management of this Hotel is very poor. The furniture is old and with lots of scratches and some of them are broken, the bed mattress is not comfy at all but especially the service was really poor. Your staff didn't follow requests, the breakfast even paid in advance was so poor that we had to make it again outside, no milk, no yogurt at 9:00...IMPOSSIBLE
The room was really cozy, clean, quiet ,with a small kitchen with stuff to cook, and really close to the center. We arrived before the check in and they gave us the room in advance. The person Who was at the office was really nice with us.
The hotel is really close to supermarkets.
We stayed there for two nights and our stayed there was really good,we totally recommend It.
+Convenient to Juneau airport (the main reason we selected it) and western part of town. Fast hotel shuttle available even for arrivals after 1100pm. Clean, quiet 2nd floor living space with kitchenette, couch, and bedroom with door. Bed was clean and of average comfort. Windows can open for airflow. Friendly and amusing front desk clerk during our one night stay.
Elizabeth and Bing were the perfect hosts for our 5 night stay in Juneau. Starting each day with a beautiful cooked breakfast and chat with our host and fellow travellers was just one of the many highlights of our stay.
We had the upstairs room which was spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom and sumptuous hot tub.
The location downtown. The sweet Bulgarian girl at the desk. The price was.bettet than most other hotels if you are willing to put up with very small quarters stuffed with too much furniture, a broken shower that took two hands to use, some noise on weekend nights and scary small steps on the stairs. No ghosts however.
I like the location and the view of the restaurant. Also, Ramada is a great place to stay in Juneau. I originally booked Wyndham Travelodge. Considering the extremely high Uber/Lyft fee of transportation to the downtown, we changed our mind and decided to stay in this hotel. It turned out to be a great experience!
In addition to being very handy for every place I wanted to visit in Juneau, this understated hotel also had a good pizza joint next door, plenty of parking, and truly huge roooooms. I had a suite, for the price (my POV) of a normal double-bed room. And it was maybe twice the size of an Extended Stay setup.
The hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff quite helpful. I wish we had stayed here for our whole trip, instead of wasting so much money at the hotel downtown. The hotel is extremely convenient to the airport. We will stay at Aspen Suites again.
Small, friendly, independent hotel in a great location (easy walking distance from boat harbor, downtown, capitol etc.).
Staff reached out to us before and throughout our stay to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible.
Located at the edge of town - away from all the tourists. But a 10 minute walk to everything (Juneau is a small town) and next to the Seawalk. Living room area was fine. Comfortable kitchen space
