The resort was perfect, the rooms/suites are decorated in a great style, the pool area was great and the staff were fantastic. We had an issue with our door key not working but they quickly came to try and resolve it and moved us to a new suite when it couldn’t be resolved. Great service. Super close to the lake and to restaurants and shops. We wished we had stayed longer than we did and would definitely stay here again on our next visit

The location itself is not exactly picturesque, but the "inn" is very close to Lake Tahoe, so it depends on what you are looking for! The room is equipped with a small microwave and a coffee machine - both were clean (surprisingly considering the room itself!).

Room was clean and exactly like in the photos (note that the carpet looks like wooden floor in the photos but it’s actually carpeted). Room had many hooks/rails to hang stuff, which is not usually the case in other hotels. Nice shower. Hot breakfast. Nice seating area for breakfast and friendly staff. Checkin and checkout was a breeze.
To the housekeeper who made a cute flower from the starting end of the toilet paper roll: It’s a very nice touch and shows how much you care in what you do! Thank you!

South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit.
South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit. I love the fresh air and the smell of the Sierras. The restaurants are okay, they try to make you think that they have all this amazing dining experiences, but they're just pretty much mediocre everywhere you go.

It's very difficult to figure out where to go to play in the snow & parking is a nightmare wherever you go. Traffic is bad. The casinos don't even try to entertain you or tease you. The slots just take your money without even stringing you along. The slots totally sucked, especially compared to Indian casinos & that includes all the casinos in South Lake, as well as North Lake.

Wow, haven't been to South Lake Tahoe in about 6-8 years and what a HUGE difference. It's become more commercialized and not as "homey" as it once felt. A lot of the older establishments are out of business with new stuff and construction taking over. The mom and pop restaurants we went to were pretty bad. It's gone down for charm, but up for convenience. Great groceries. Whole Foods, Safeway, Grocery Outlet... few bakeries, but we were shocked at the prices. $4.25 for a bear claw pastry! Still, it's beautiful and still worth the trip. Heavenly ski resort now requires reservations for parking on the weekends. They charge for cars with less than 3 people.

S. Lake Tahoe is fine for those seeking to shop, visit casino, night life however if you want to get away from the crowds and experience nature you are better off finding accommodations on the North side of the lake.

The location is great and close to stores and beach.
The location is great and close to stores and beach. They allowed pet in the area as well and the area is very quiet and safe. The only this we don’t like is no rug for the bathroom and the entrance door. They put a white towel instead. And the window or vinyl were dusty. Overall we love the place and we had a great stay. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Quite liked this hotel. It's a large property with two main buildings. We stayed in the one across the road. The room was quite small given the price, but with a good bathroom. I would suspect that rooms on the upper floor could get quite noisy due to the street (it's not super busy, but still in the middle of South Lake Tahoe). Our room was on the ground floor and somewhat removed from the street, so okay. Staff was very nice and courteous. Breakfast was okay - basic motel breakfast.
The location is awesome, very central to South Lake, and walking distance to restaurants, casinos, and ski lifts. I love that they are so welcoming to dogs- we took our two pups on the trip with us, and they loved their stay just as much as we did. One of the reasons why we love coming to Lake Tahoe is because it is such a dog friendly destination, and we will keep coming back to Lake Tahoe and to Hotel Becket.
Great hotel. Perfect location, the Gondola is a 5 minute walk and the nightlife and casinos are a short walk away, but not disturbing the hotel. They let me leave my car there all day after checking out while I hit the slopes. Really nice staff. Warm cozy room despite the outside door. The welcome drink was a nice bonus.
Room was a very good size. Location was convenient to South Lake Tahoe facilities and the publically-accessible lakefront. Breakfast was perfect for us and handy to have available for the few hours in the morning. Parking was available in the hotel carpark directly downstairs from our room.
The jacuzzi was amazing MacDuff's pub right next door was the best food and drinks ever and it was right across the street from the lake which was covered in snow and beautiful we ubered to the casinos for $12 what a deal we had such a great weekend would recommend this hotel to anybody
Person at the front desk was new. It took us a couple extra minutes to check in, but we were in no rush.
Room was comfortable. We were there for only 1 night, all basic things were covered. We went to casino later in night, had a few drinks and could walk back to our hotel room.
The best about this motel is it’s very good location right in the centre of South Lake Tahoe with close proximity to a private beach (25$ per person though; 10$ after 5pm). The bed was comfy and some amenities such as shower gel and a soap were provided.
The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice a spacious. There was no staff but the hotel sends you a code to access you room. The location is a block away from the casino Harrah’s which is really nice since you can easily walk there.
Great location to walk to the main street with restaurants, hotels, casinos, etc. We had our large german shepherd with us. It was $25 for a pet and well worth it. Many areas all around the neighborhood to walk the dog.
It’s a great property. The free s’mores each night are a great touch. The receptionist/ barman Chris was awesome, really friendly and approachable. The rooms are the best, heated toilet seats are next level hotel-ing!
The room was very clean with all that we needed. Shampoo, hair conditioner, soap, hair dryer, iron are available. The contactless check in and checkout are very simple and easy. The hotel is near everything.
The only good thing is that it is close to the center, casinos and beach, everything is a 5 minute walk but the hotel is disgusting and the manager has no character to attend to the costumers
Amazing little hotel, it was so cozy and also in good location. Room and the floor was a little bit cold, it would help if they provided some slippers or put a rug on the floor. :)
We were in Tahoe for our wedding and stayed here. We had the best time! Very cool hotel and walking distance to casinos, heavenly village, restaurants, the beach, etc.
The hotel was very quiet.
The bed and pillows were comfortable.
It was close to stores restaurants and casinos, although there were no sidewalks for part of the way.
Best location! Everyone in a room can see and enjoy a beautiful view! We went outside and enjoyed a firepit on the grass in front of a hotel while seeing a lakeview.
