In all of my 40 years, I can honestly say that Mt. Airy was in the top 3 most enjoyable vacations that I have ever been on! The town was absolutely beautiful, the people were so friendly, and welcoming. The Andy Griffith Car Tour was so fun! Our tour guide was simply amazing! He is from Mt. Airy, so he knew all the history of Mt. Airy. We ate at the Rusty Rooster for brunch. The food was awesome, and the service was even better! We ate dinner at Aunt Bee's BBQ. It was so yummy! My husband enjoyed the cigar shop downtown Mt. Airy, as I made my way throughout the many shops. Just a beautiful vacation!!

The squad car tour was amazing.
The squad car tour was amazing. So much interesting info about Andy and his home town. Our guide, Mark, made the tour exceptional with his quotes and quips of The Andy Griffith Show program having used many business and street names of Mt. Airy where Andy grew up. Who knew that there is a quarry there that can be seen from space.

We are Andy Griffith fans.
We are Andy Griffith fans. We loved learning more about him and getting the Mayberry feel. The town is a quaint small town. Very friendly. We toured the museum. Our favorite experience was taking a tour in the cop car. We ate at the local restaurants. No chain restaurants. Prices very reasonable. Homestyle cooking at its best.

The facility appeared to be of mid-1960s vintage and is a typical single-floor motel design of that era. The room was clean and comfortable. Some of the fixtures were outdated. The toilet roll holder was broken (it was reported upon checkout). The sprayed wall texture was sloppily done and even coated the AC power cord. The breakfast offerings were minimal and pre-packaged. The Wi-Fi was good. Overall, this place is average and is recommended for an affordable one-night stay.
Absolutely beautiful, private, relaxing. We left our son's in Alabama and decided to take a tour through Mount Airy, we needed a room for the night and I came across this on bookings. com. Can't say enough about this place or the view. Loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer before returning home to Kentucky. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a beautiful tranquil place to stay. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us!!
I slept amazing both nights! Quiet hotel, didn't even hear other people pull in after we had settled in for the night. Staff was super friendly. We generally stay at a different hotel when we come to my daughter's, but we'll be switching to the Bryson.
Close to downtown Mount Airy. We were traveling with multi generations and were able to come back to the house to rest when needed. Enjoyed the books and games with the Mayberry theme. Becky was helpful and gave great recommendations for places to eat.
Friendly staff especially the lady that helped with Breakfast. She made sure everyone had what they needed. The clean room and quiet area where we stayed was unreal from where we had been at other Hotels. Close enough to Andy Griffe shows.
Nothing. They are not 24 hours. Don’t bother booking online bc when you get to the inn, no one would come to the door or answer after ringing buzzer and calling the location. Had to find a different hotel
I thought the breakfast was average compared to other hotels. Waffles were very good nice selection. Was grateful that they had travel size toothpaste available. We would definitely stay again.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. It’s located just off the interstate and about 8 miles from Mount Airy. There is a nice pool. The bed was comfortable.
We were very pleased with this hotel. Very good value for money. Clean, quiet and well maintained. Staff was exceptional. There were two eateries next door with excellant food.
Good Breakfast plenty of selections. Easy access All around good place to stay. Friendly staff I recommend this hotel for your visit to Mt Airy. Easy parking and plenty of it.
Everything was great. We were visiting Mt Airy and this was a perfect location. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean. We were pleasantly surprised with everything.
The property was very clean and so were the rooms. I was a little optimistic because it was not a known "brand" hotel but was very pleased with how I found this property.
The breakfast was very nice. The lady who worked there even got our food for us and brought us juice! Never had that happen before at a breakfast bar at a hotel.
Breakfast was good enough. Small sitting area considering there was a huge group staying at the hotel but still nice and pleasant. Pretty place overall.
