West Plaza Downtown, hotel in Koror

Located in the heart of Koror, only 500 metres from local restaurants, bars and cafés, West Plaza Downtown features rooms with cable TV and an en suite bathroom.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is central and within the city centre. The entrance is not appealing and not the ambiance of a hotel. The room was a good size but somewhat dated. The reception arranged a snorkelling trip with Impac Tours to Rock Islands, including Jellyfish Lake, Shark city, Natural Arch and Milkyway which was fantastic. Large shopping centre, restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Good gift shop with traditional storyboards at Belau Museum. The West Plaza group has another hotel across the road at Lebuu Street which seems much newer.

I loved staying in Koror, the people are very friendly and the nature is superb. It is however very expensive and it is not easy to find places where you can hit the water to swim or kayak - without going on a tour or staying on a expensive hotel.

It's a good place with lots of lovely areas to visit. Great for diving, snorkeling and kayaking. Although there are lots of dive sites it is hard to find dive shops that will take you to wrecks. Most of them go to the most famous dive sites every day (Blue hole, German channel etc) Some good restaurants too such as The Cove, The Drop Off, Fisherman's Grill and Elilai.

A gorgeous island where the people are welcoming. I wish I had seen more of it. We were on a dive trip. We had a incredible time but we were so tired at the end of each day our last day we decided to rest and stay at the hotel, The Cove, witch was beautiful and relaxing.

If you are looking for a snorkelling paradise the Palau is the place. I’ve been to a number of South Pacific Islands and this is certainly one of the best. Its extremely safe and has a laid-back Island feel. The snorkelling is first class and the jelly fish trip is a must. We went on our tours with Fish and Fins Diving, they exceeded our expectations, very professional and great to deal with

Mei and Irene will welcome you with their sunny disposition, kindness and professionality! They also suggest you all the best activities to do in the island..:) They were very accurate and fast to book everything for you!(thank you for all:D) The room was comfortable and very big (also the bathroom was very big). The hotel have inside a very cool pub/restaurant called ‘canoe house’ ;it’s very cool with live music and good dishes!:) The laundry service was excellent (very fast and easy).

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, well-designed and quality furnishings, loved the luxurious en-suite and having our own living room was ideal for our group. The best of all were the staff! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, helping us rent a reasonably priced car, picking us up at the airport in a luxe vehicle, and making special breakfasts for us at times which worked for us. I would stay there again on my next trip.

We chose the resort for the pool and beach but unfortunately the weather didn't play ball and we had rain and also suffered from bad colds during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is close to a number of good places to eat but the hotel restaurant was empty in the evening (possibly closed?). Overall the hotel was empty with what seemed to be hardly anyone staying.

The apartment was big with a nice living Room and big bedrooms/suites. The staff was the best I've ever found on my list of travels. Leo was great and gave us the best recommendations for tours and restaurants. Sylvia and Josh were also very professionals and made us feeling at home. I would highly recommend Shell Villas when you come to Palau.

Staff was very accomodating, they went out of their way to help me find an iron to press my clothes, and they helped me find internet. They also stayed up very late to recieve us fron the airport and bring all our luggage to our rooms, the staff at lehns really went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken cared of.

I booked this hotel for my colleagues who were doing hard work in harsh environment in Palau. Comparing with the first hotel they stayed, Insland Paradise is definitely worthy of the name. I was not here this time but I will make sure to stay here to experience myself in the upcoming trip.

Stayed here for our first night. The breakfast was an amazing bento box from the Korean restaurant downstairs. The owner is also a very interesting person who gave many useful tips! All hotels in Palau are overpriced, and this one provides very good value for money.

It was a short stay waiting for our Liveaboard during strict COVID restrictions. Since we were "Green Band" guests we were limited to our rooms and pool area. Loved the pool area and the hotel faced the harbor which was great.
