Like a dream come true. Starting from the warm welcome from staff (Patience and Lloyd) to the decadent breakfasts our stay was delightful. All views from the suite (number 2) were exceptional.
The fire in the fireplace each night warmed us and our hearts. Great gift shop. Housekeeping was amazing. And the lighted walkway was enchanting.

Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around.
Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around. Lots to do and see in and around Plettenberg Bay. Be careful whe choosing accommodation. Booking.com asked our arrival time at our accommodation booked which we said will be between 16h00 and 17h00. We had the option to pay on arrival. For security we gave our credit card number on booking.com. However...our host put the payment through at 14h00 when we were stil in Knysna. Our host added an additional fee to our booking. Our host had his own reasons for charging the additional fee. We arrived in time. Will not recommend The Green Palm Cottage

Our family's time in Plettenberg Bay was truly unforgettable. The town's central location made exploring the area a breeze, with convenient access to local amenities like grocery stores and the stunning nearby beaches. We were thrilled to discover attractions such as the Knysna Elephant Park and Adventure Land, just a short drive away, adding excitement to our vacation. However, one thing to note is that there are limited halaal food options in the area, which posed a challenge for us. Nonetheless, after our adventures, returning to our cozy retreat provided the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge. The warm hospitality of the locals further enhanced our experience, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Plettenberg Bay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation on South Africa's beautiful coastline.

The highlight of our visit was our walk on the Robberg Peninsular - stunning scenery, seals and other wildlife (lizards etc). Make sure if you do the walk that you take plenty of water with you, wear proper walking shoes (flip flops just won't cut it) and be aware that in some places there are climbs that are quite challenging.

Our Deluxe Double Room was double-booked due to a system error, so we were offered the Luxury Bay Apartment as an upgrade instead.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. For example, we needed an ironing board and iron, and they brought it for us without delay.
Breakfast menu is very varied and quantities are generous.
Location is very central and right on the beach. There is safe parking nearby.
They leave South African treats like koeksusters and milktart for you each evening!
The location is perfect. You are steps away from the beach and some fantastic dining, like the Fat Fish. You are 15-min. (uphill) walk to the center of town. We stayed in Unit 1, a 2-bedroom apartment. We had an incredible view of the beach and Beacon Island hotel at sunset. The unit has A/C, a washing machine and full kitchen. It's perfect for the self-catering family. The primary bedroom has a bathtub and shower.
It’s a rustic cottage vibe that has a beautiful view over to beacon island hotel.
Perfect location to enjoy what Plettenberg has to offer. Very close to all that Plet has to offer within a walking distance.
The host was always available to sort out any questions or concerns we had and also provided a list of restaurants and nearby attractions that other visitors love.
The most amazing location, on the beach!!
Breakfast excellent with stunning views from the deck .
Free use of umbrella, beach bag and swimming towels when going to the beach makes it so convenient. You just hand everything back when you done.
Don’t have to drive and battle with parking when going to the beach, you literally walk out the hotel onto the beach.
The hosts were nice and accommodating. The farm is beautiful, and it is great to be surrounded by nature. It is very peaceful and quiet. The farm is located close to Plettenberg bay and it is easy to get there quite quickly. There are security gates on the farm and the chalets are equipped with safety gates and an alarm system, so we felt very safe as well.
Property has onsite checkin, excellent security and gated parking. There are views to the water from the main lounge/breakfast area, where they have coffee making facilities available 24hrs.
The rooms are clean and functional hotel rooms, with large showers. Beds were okay.
It included a good breakfast.
