Terrific location! A very easy walk from the main train station, extremely convenient walk to the winter markets. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of items to choose from and plentiful. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean. My only negative is that the bed was a little firm for my liking, but I am noticing that most are firm here in France, and this is more a preference than a fault. I would definitely return and would recommend Hotel Mercury Colmar to anyone looking to visit Colmar, I had a wonderful stay!

It's like a fairytale city which I always wanted to visit.
It's like a fairytale city which I always wanted to visit. It's so quiet and nice.
For dinner the restaurants are open from 7 pm to 9:30 pm or latest 10 pm.
Prices are a bit too high though. Around 25 euros only for the main dish for a person.
There are not coffee specialty places. Wherever I bought a cappuccino it was not the best, quite average I would say if you are a coffee lover.

Colmar is in a great location for people interested in the wineries of Alsace. We booked a private wine tour and visited several beautiful old villages and three wineries. I highly recommend this activity. We also highly recommend the Unterlinden Museum (the Issenheim Altarpiece is amazing) and the Bartholdi Museum. If you are able to prepare your own meals, the covered market in Colmar is a great place to shop for local foods and produce and it is located near Little Venice, so it's a scenic stroll. We took the bus to see the replica Statue of Liberty and I wouldn't recommend this activity unless you have a car. The statue is situated on an extremely busy roundabout so we were unable to get close to it - I'm really not sure how people on Instagram managed to get their amazing photos. Finally, if you are travelling during Lent, check to see when the Colmar Carnaval is being held. We personally did not enjoy the noise and the crowds, but we weren't expecting it since we didn't know about the Carnaval before travelling.

Colmar is a charming place to visit, with fantastic dining options and wonderful stores, including clothing stores, shoe stores, art and antique shops as well as gourmet shops and grocery stores offering everything one could hope for. It is also convenient to other nearby destinations of interest, making it a good starting point as well as a nice place to come home to in the evening because of its multitude of bars, cafes and dining facilities. If you’re traveling with pets, please be aware the taxi cabs are not user friendly if you have dogs, large or small. We we forced to walked from the train station in rainstorms each way because we couldn’t get a taxi that would help us. And management at the Coton apartment leasing Group, while saying they would call us back when we asked for assistance, simply didn’t. They never called back.

Bathroom shower has black mold.
Bathroom shower has black mold. Towels all over the floor from previous reservation, dirty pillow case left in the bathroom, human hair on bathroom and sink. We complain to the receptionist and she state the will take care of the mold situation the next day. That never happened. Mold was in the shower for the entire stay. Day receptionist full of negative attitude. Key of bedroom stop working after every use. We have our keys re program several times a day( every time we enter the room card key need to be reprogram) Front receptionist Lady blaming us for carrying the card key in our pocket and messing up the card key
The hotel is pretty close to the centre of the town. The staff is really nice and welcoming. We got a tiny double room, but to be honest we just needed it to stay overnight. The bathroom is tiny but clean. The room was air-conditioned. No kettle in the room, but we found a nice café to have breakfast. I believe that the Hotel Primo offers breakfast as well but we wanted to sit outside and admire the view. The town of Colmar is gorgeous. The young lady helped us with our backpacks as we left them at the hotel before we left for Strasbourg.
It is a residence for the elderly (not like a hotel), but the people working there are all very friendly and hospitable.
I received my own keycard with which I could enter and leave the building whenever I liked.
The location is perfect: at walking distance from Colmar Station, right at the edge of Colmar's city centre, within 5 min of the central bus hub (Colmar Theatre) and supermarkets.
I loved the spacious shower and the kitchen equipment is excellent (electric stove and a good frying pan).
this was by far the best property in our entire stay in France. fabrice and his lovely wife are exceptional hosts and were incredibly helpful. We tried one of the restaurants he recommended and the food was great. the beds are SO comfortable, shower fantastic and the apartment is perfect for two people who need a room each as well as couples. the location is perfect, close to cafes and restaurants…there is absolutely nothing not to like about this amazing apartment.
Beautifully designed hotel with a very friendly and professional staff. The room was nicely with nice interior design with a decent size. Breakfast was excellent and splendid spa. The massage was very professional and well done. Again the staff from the breakfast was professional/friendly and happy to work at the hotel. Highly recommend to stay there if you visit Colmar. It is worth the price.
Friendly people at the reception. Breakfast was very good: a lot of choice and fresh. Also a decent coffee machine with different options.
The hotel is located close to the old centre and the other cultural stuff that you visit Colmar for.
By the way: a long side the same road the hotel is located there is a very good thai restaurant named 'Muang Thai' that is worth a visit.
Everything was perfect here. The kind woman at the front desk was so kind and very tolerant of my bad French (we could both laugh). The hotel was very modern and ultra comfortable. Only a 10 minute walk to the "old City center"
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Colmar!
Let me add, breakfast, the best of France, Germany and USA.
Nice little hotel for a visit to Colmar. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to book us a table at local restaurant over a busy weekend. The room was good, but not fantastic (for the price). the centre of Colmar was a short walk from the hotel.
Unbeatable price! So convenient if you have a car. It takes only a few minutes to drive to Colmar (we park at Rapp Parking in Colmar). The hotel looks out to the highway, it can be a bit noisy but no problem at all once you close the window. Highly recommend.
It is a great hotel in terms of value for money. We stayed there during our visit to Colmar. It is walking distance to reach the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are sufficient for a couple. The breakfast was very nice.
Superb location - walking distance to the central historic heart of Colmar. Excellent staff which gives you the feeling of being at a boutique hotel and not a chain. Great breakfast. Excellent secure parking.
Ibis are very consistent and great value, excellent location near town centre and car park adjacent and reasonable
Hotel spotless, quiet area, breakfast superb
Staff very helpful and friendly
The hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful city centre park, close to Little Venice. Colmar was a great choice for our stopover, with safe parking for our car
Extremely comfortable hotel, perfect location in the centre of Colmar. Very good breakfast with lots of choice, enjoyed overlooking the Lauch within Petite France.
Breakfast was so lovely. Location is perfect for visiting Colmar. I will definitely choose to stay again in this hotel when I got opportunity to visit Colmar
