Location was good, 10 minute walk from Hiroshima Station, or to the bus stop which we used the most. Pleasant location near the river so the walks were enjoyable. Staff didn't have much English but were very friendly.

Hiroshima is a great city. The peace park and museum were very touching. It is incredible to see how the city has been rebuilt and is thriving. The day trip to Miyajima island is a must with a hike to Mt. Misen and seeing Otorii shrine.

Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see.
Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see. We walked around on our own one afternoon and had an excellent (and moving) local tour of the Peace Park and related memorials the next morning. For lunch we had a delicious local Okonomiyaki. For dinner we tried oysters done in five different preparations, as it is another specialty of the area. (They are quite large, however, and not our favorite.)
We never got to the castle or gardens, and did not visit Miyajima, which is why I would have liked one more night. But it was enough time for the basics. We would recommend that everyone take the time to visit Hiroshima. It is part of our collective history and essential now to understand the dangers we all face in today's volatile world.

We were independent travellers.
We were independent travellers. Hiroshima was easily accessible by public transport especially with the 'Free' JR pass hop on hop off bus. 3 separate circuits gave us plenty of choice. The 'Peace Park' precinct was a great focus for a day or even two.

Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Park/ Museum and Miyajima were the highlights of the trip to Hiroshima,
Food for vegetarians is a bit of a challenge in Hiroshima; Margherita from Pizza Hut was atrocious.
Getting around is easy with good public transport.
Would avoid a budget hotel like Apa in future.

Important place to visit. Peace Dome and all the history is interesting. It is a big city but there are things to do nearby - Miyajima which is train and ferry ride is worth visiting.
The Art Gallery and the Castle were also worth visiting.
Shopping is good.

It is a powerful albeit sobering visit.
It is a powerful albeit sobering visit. The horror of the event is so clear when visiting the museam and monument. The town is loverly and eveywhere you see signs, art and street names evoking lover and peace. a testiment to the people who live there choosing positive sentiments today given the recent past. I think it is a good thing for prople to see and contempate.
A wonderful hotel, I would even rate it a 4 star hotel instead of a 3 star hotel. Rooms were spacious, more than I expected, amenities were good quality stuff, aircon was nice and cold, air filter in room, beds were comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Was also only a "7 min" walk from Hiroshima Station (i walked slower because luggage). The park directly behind the hotel was also quite nice and relaxing to sit in and watch the riverside and some cherry blossoms. Good views from my 5th floor room too.
The location is amongst the more ideal to a few must go spots in Hiroshima. There are many hotels about this same locale and hence very competitive. For those driving, The Knots' has advantage of car park facility (howbeit limited lots) and competitive carpark lots are available as well.
The free hotel token during check-in is an interesting approach to chill at the reception area up on the top floor. Loved it.
The room size is rather big relative to most hotel room in Japan.
Fantastic location - surrounded by lots of food and shopping. Easy street car to/from the train station. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had excellent blockout blinds for the morning sun. We were lucky enough to stay during the Hiroshima Flower Festival and had a festival (multiple blocks) full of food and entertainment right outside the hotel for the weekend. It's a nice easy walk from the hotel to the subway to get to Miyajima, and also to peace park.
Friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout the stay. The room was very spacious for a Japanese hotel. It is located only about a 5 minute walk from Hiroshima Station. The breakfast was standard. They also have two washing machines and dryers available which was great. The onsen facility was also good. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel to stay at and we'd happily return there on our next visit.
The location was very central and super close to everything I wanted to do and go to in Hiroshima. The train and markets were right outside the hotel. It definitely is a little outdated but after staying in hostels in other cities, it was nice to have a private space with a comfortable bed in a pretty spacious room!
The hotel was in a great location within walking distance to Hiroshima Station (~8 minutes from the South exit). The room was larger than I anticipated and had a lot of amenities (washer in room, large bathroom with big tub and nice shower) and the balcony was really nice, even though we didn't have great weather!
Quite new hotel in city centre of Hiroshima, close to shopping, restaurants, and short distance from JR station and sightseeing sites.
Room is small but has everything needed, staff is friendly. Nice to have laundry in hotel.
Breakfast is simple but meet all expectations (local food and continental breakfast).
The hotel and room is a little run down but provided all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Room size is a little larger than expected and I could put a 26" suitcase on the floor and open it. Location is about 6 min walk to Hiroshima station and there are several eateries nearby.
Our favorite hotel in Japan. Clean, beds so comfortable and the staff was so kind (helped me organize pizza delivery for son's birthday). Super affordable. Breakfast looked good but we didn't have time to eat it. Good location, right next to Hiroshima station.
Beautiful views in all directions. Ferry to Miyajima island stops at hotel - very convenient. Excellent buffet dinner on 28th floor. Only drawback is transportation to and from downtown Hiroshima- wait for hotel shuttle, public bus or taxi (about 3000yen).
Location is very convenient to Hiroshima station, friendly staff, city view from room was nice, breakfast buffet offered good variety of food featuring Hiroshima specialties. Good hotel for short-term stays.
Very big room to accommodate 5 of us.
Hotel is very clean and staff friendly.
We could leave our luggage before check-in which was great.
If ever in Hiroshima we will go back
The hotel is amazing, so is the location. (very close to the emblematic site of Hiroshima)
The staff is so friendly and nice
striking views from the 14th floor rooftop bar
Very nice hotel exactly on hiroshima Station.
Very comfortable, clean, fantastic sound isolation
Very comfortable position on station and in shopping building
Comfortable hotel. Very helpful and polite staff. There was an elevator car parking that we had never seen before. Excellent location for visiting Hiroshima.
Everything about this hotel is perfect: the location, value, staff, the size of the room, etc. We’ll stay here again for sure if we visit Hiroshima again.
