Pärnu is old bathing centre, with wonderful historical buildings, and villas dating back from Jugend and Art Noveau periods. Our stay in Pärnu was in early August, yet the sea water temparatures were seasonally relatively low. There were few swimmers at the main beach, as the weather was windy with occasional showers of rain. But the landscape and seascape were marvellous and there is plenty to do also in the old town. The restaurant scene has much improved in the past years and there is reasonable variety available for both budget travellers and more high-end venues. Everything is reasonable near-by and walking or cycling around is practical.

A wonderful city with clean streets and a beautiful beach!
I didn't stay long, as it was just a place for me to stay in the hotel and have lunch, but I will never cease to be amazed, at how nice Parnu is every time I visit this place.
We had food at 'Vehverments Bar & Tostadas' and I was very impressed by how delicious and affordable it was. Yellow hummus is a must-try!

Pärnu is lovely with lots of trees and green areas as well as old buildings on the seaside of the bridge. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Summer time, and plenty of activities for kids and adults.
Not all places, especially hotels, have good vegan options yet. Also the sea brings a lot of humidity so drying laundry can be challenging and some buildings have mold problems. I definitely do not recommend staying in a wooden building if you have any sensitivity to mold.
Pärnu beach is very long and shallow, making it safe for kids. The rest of the old town side is also otherwise safe, so I'd definitely recommend the destination to families or elderly people.

Pärnu is major Estonian resort city.
Pärnu is major Estonian resort city. If it is hot day the Pärnu Beach, it the place to go. Beach has big female nudist area. Beach has good quality sand and long shallow bathing area. City has lot of big resort hotels with numerous Spa, health healing facilities and water centres. These hotels are close to the beach area. Beach area itself is well developed and has lot of villas and parks nearby. City itself has small town atmosphere and the centre is lovely with lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can walk everywhere City is not overcrowded (except in hot summer days) and is good place to have a short 2–4-day holiday. City is popular among Finnish tourists.
Try cafe “Supelsaksad” nice food and cakes, hotel “Tervise Paradiis” for kids water center, hotel “Estonia” and “Tervis” for medical facilities, hotel “Villa Ammende”, “Hedon” or “Wasa” for upscale Spa holiday. Pärnu has popular theatre “Endla” (only Estonian) and philharmonic concert hall (concerts and festivals year round). There are numerous sport facilities, good tennis grounds, excellent golf course is 20m drive from city center.

Pärnu is a lovely town.
Pärnu is a lovely town. Easy to get around, and everything is accessible. Lots of interesting places to eat even in wintertime.
Obviously, the town will be much busier during summertime but we would visit Pärnu even in wintertime.
The location of the hotel is great, It is located quite close to the city centre and at the same time it is beachfront. The swimming pool is quite big, there are a few saunas, which is more than enough to enjoy the spa zone. The breakfast is quite decent. If you are a fan of champagne, they will offer it to you for breakfast as well. You can have all your meals at the hotel, which is also handy if you don't want to or can't leave the premises of the hotel for some reason
Breakfast was excellent interior and atmosphere in Restaurant is very pleasant and comfy, we very enjoyed our dinner and breakfast there. Staff is very helpful. In breakfast was glutenfree and dairy free milk for coffee available. Salmon was very tasty, various fruits, pancakes and very good coffee. I liked ambient music in breakfast.
Good location, near park and sea, good for exploring old town and little shops, 1min from Estonian Spa.
So far this has been the only hotel that has gluten free bread available on spot at the restaurant (don’t need to ask for it every day), very nice! We also liked that the room came with a shoehorn and a bottle opener. Room was clean but very humid (especially when it rains) and smells funky…. Felt like we were in a room at a camping site.
Very good place to have a rest in Parnu. Flat is spacious with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sauna in the bathroom. In summertime you can enjoy the terrace and yard. Parkingplace near the flat. Across the street you can enjoy the beech, aquapark, bowling and SPA in the hotel. I really recommend this place.
I really liked wooden interior. Hostel it's located in quiet area and we slept very well. Owner is very friendly! She showed me everything in kitchen, we had small talk about Estonia, Parnu and she advised us wich places to visit in Parnu. Really caring person - we felt like we stay in cousins house. :)
Amazing location - equal distance walk to Pärnu old town and Pärnu beach. Lots of space - we rented the two upstairs apartments. Washer/dryer combo unit in 2 bedroom apartment was excellent - quick and dried everything well. Kitchen well stocked with coffee and basics for cooking.
I really loved the location. It is close to the beach and there is a cool park right beside the hotell, so a quick walk across the park to the beach was great! The hotell/spa was also verry good. Nothing too much, but just what you would need for a great vacation in Pärnu.
Just stopped for the night. it was Ealy May so the hotel was empty. I could tell that this was a seasonal hotel. and looked like to be an up class hotel. 10 second walk to the waters edge. Room was a good size and very clean.
Location was great in the heart of Pärnu, in the old town and also not too far from beach. Breakfast in bed was really nice. Hotel and room are wonderfully renovated and designed and bed was super comfy.
Spa area is good, I would say 4/5 as there is no cold pool to jump into after sauna.
Breakfast is also a good one, quite typical for a 4-star hotel, but nothing extraordinary.
By car it was not difficult to arrive to the main hotel for the breakfast. Keep your paper with the main hotel door code with you! Otherwise nobody will open the door for you
Very good location, everything is near (shops, beach, bus station etc.). Quiet neighborhood. Helpful friendly host. All in all, very good, would stay again when in Pärnu.
Eat as much as you like breakfast, dressing gowns you can wear around the hotel, great Thai massage ,lots of facilities ,nice view of the city from the roof top bar
Absolutely everything was perfect! Will come back again for sure. Amazing villa, wonderful staff, beautiful location and facility. Best hotel experience in Estonia!
A very nice hotel and a great room. Everything's tidy and well looked after. Tasty breakfast. The location is in a walking distance the best restaurants in Parnu.
Everything was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room clean, food tasty. Hotel pretty, recently renovated. Spa area warm and not crowded
