Most importantly: the rooms had great air conditioning! Everything was very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was very good every morning. The staff was always super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We stayed 2 nights, then went out to a couple of jungle lodges for 3 nights. When we were done in the jungle we decided not to fool around looking for another hotel. Copasu had everything we wanted and we were so glad to come back to this hotel for our last two nights in Puerto Maldonado. This place was so great!!

The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Went out of there way to help me, including accommodating my vegan diet for breakfast (even though I didn't ask, they asked me) and walked with me to show me an money exchange place with great rates. The grounds are well kept with lots of plants. The room was clean, beds soft, hot showers, and the AC worked well. There is a microwave to heat food down stairs. Is a short 5 to 7 minute walk from the city center. I plan to stay here again and would recommend it!

From outside this hotel is not very good looking but the bedrooms was very comfortable, clean, with huge comfort beds and hot water in the bathrooms. Highly recommend to travelers who want to spend a night to Puerto Maldonado and continue the next day for a two or three nights tour to Amazon jungle. For the difficult circumstances of the life in Puerto Maldonado was perfect! Thank you Tambopata Inn!
