We loved this beautiful property and especially enjoyed the light and view from our upper room! The inner courtyard is filled with plants and cozy places to relax. The breakfast was simply excellent- what a treat to have lemon and apple pies, cake and wholewheat fresh bread as well as the plentiful offerings of eggs, fruit, juices etc.

We loved Sucre. It retains an excellently restored and preserved Spanish colonial town center with its churches and monasteries. Everything within walking distance (at least for us); we never required car transport. The museum of the liberation period, the Casa de la Liberdade, was very interesting. The cathedral is magnificent and well maintained. English tours existed in all the museums we visited but there were very few time slots available so we made do with our reasonable Spanish skills.

This is perhaps the fifth time that I have visited Sucre with my partner. This time was for family reasons and not tourism. However, as always, Sucre - The White City - does not disappoint. We managed to go and see the indigenous show 'Origins' and combine the experience with dinner. This 'ethnic' history of Sucre was most enjoyable and I can thoroughly recommend it to all ages.

Sucre is capital of Bolivia but suddenly is very calm place.
Sucre is capital of Bolivia but suddenly is very calm place.
People are nice and streets (except market area) are not crowded.
City is quite small and centre has perfect construction. Need 10 minutes by walking to reach all interesting places.
But most important is the history of that place...
Worth to visit!

We were in Sucre for 4 days, it was lovely to have enough time to stop and watch the markets and see the town in its routine. Recommend hoping on a local bus for its route to see some of the back streets and hop off when something takes your fancy. Buses and Taxi's everywhere so you're never lost. Wonderful to see Indigenous tribes living here in Sucre, and their wonderful clothes and colours.
Recommend taking the bus out "of town" to Mercado Campesino for a another view into the day to day of Sucre.

The Museums are very beautiful and will and interesting history each one, I need more time to looked all. My time was very short.
The weather also was very nice as spring time, very clean nice architectonic colonial houses.
If you a fan of colonial style, this is your spot! Such a beautiful colonial building with antique furniture and lots of space. I had the apartment with terrace and spend a few days in Sucre. It also includes a office room with an huge desk and a comfortable office chair if you got some work to do. The terrace is beautiful as well. Hot water in the shower and sink is excellent. The whole place is super clean and hosted by Sonia who is a very friendly and kind person. I definitely recommend Casa Ramirez. Thank you so much Sonia! 🙏
A little oasis of calm, just off probably the busiest street in Sucre old town. The staff were really nice, helped call me a taxi to the airport
Breakfast is excellent. Buffet style cereal, toast, cheese etc, plus fresh juice and freshly cooked eggs (BYO avocado!). Kitchen facilities available for use and a big 20 l barrel of water to refill your bottles from.
Room was great, good hot shower and decent WiFi. Warm white lamp above the bed (:D). Quiet and dark at night.
Perfect stay. Rooms are hotel niveau, beds really comfy, shower is amazing. The kitchen is good, the little terrasse outside is so nice with all the flowers. It's quiet and close to the center. The landlady really cares for her guests, she also helped us get a cab and was open for any questions.
We came from Uyuni, this was our luxury paradise, but the price is totally fair.
I can only recommend the Parador in Sucre, it is an excellent hotel at a fair rate. It is located just a few hundred meters from the Plaza Mayor and has parking availability. The breakfast was very good, the Wi-Fi was very good and so was the bathroom. I had a spacious room with a nice view over the town. Also excellent laundry service within 24 hours.
I loved the friendly staff, the position of the hotel and the cleanliness. I arrived early morning in Sucre and they let me check-in earlier than their check-in time at no extra cost since the room was available. And their terrace was stunning, perfect spot if you want to chill outside.
Beautiful hotel in a colonial style mansion with lovely courtyard and rooftop views of the city. Comfortable, clean room and impeccable service from staff. Great breakfast served with sweeping views of the city. Staff also provided an excellent taxi driver to take me to the airport.
We arrived around 7am, the bedroom wasn’t ready as the check-in is at 12:30 but they let us stay in another room so we could rest meanwhile. The hotel was clean, new and pretty (with a cute courtyard), and in a great location. The personal is extremely helpful and kind. Great place.
Good value accommodation in Sucre. Walkable to from the bus station. All private rooms with shared bathrooms set on various levels. Staff are extremely helpful and kind. A half kitchen is available with a microwave, kettle, sandwich toaster and blender.
They allowed me to check in 6 am.
good breakfast.
in a front desk you can fill up your bottle with a clean water. They also have two free computer to use for guests. if almost like a business hotel.
There is lovely outdoor terrace I really like it.
Excellent accommodations central to old Sucre. Facilities are well organized and convenient; Suzanna at check is friendly and most very helpful. Everything is close at hand.
I would heartily recommend to family, friends, and budget travelers.
Very nice rooms with a historic touch. The location is ideally located close to the center. There is an extensive breakfast buffet that meets our expectations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!
Such a beautiful hotel (it says hostal, but it's a hotel), in the best, most walkable part of Sucre. Fantastic and friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. Would absolutely stay again!
The room downstairs was quite large with a somewhat private outdoor garden area and the location was quite central. There’s also a nice rooftop with a cute view of Sucre
Nice place to stay for one or two nights in Sucre. The WiFi worked very well. The room was okay but nothing special. The staff and owner are super friendly and helpful.
One of the best hostels I stayed in all of south america. Garden and Sucres temperature make for a great change after travelling in the andes for long...
