The View at this Inn is AMAZING. The facility was very clean and had lots of accommodations; i.e. ice bucket, fridge, snacks in the lobby to have when going out for a hike, breakfast delivery to room. Very nice place, that also has an amazing location in Sedona.

Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful scenery. Lots of places to go even if you don't go hiking.
Lots of art galleries and hand made jewelry; not many places for inexpensive souvenirs, atleast I couldn't find any until we were heading back down south of Sedona.

The scenery of Sedona is stunning.
The scenery of Sedona is stunning. The trailhead parking can be an issue, and we were there during the week. I would not attempt a visit on the weekend as Sedona is extremely popular. There is a Sedona shuttle. We ate dinner one night at Mesa Grill, which was excellent. Reservations are required for dinner at Mesa Grill, even on a week night.

This location is south of Sedona in the smaller community of Village of Oak Creek. Close to many wonderful hikes, walking distance to grocery store and several restaurants yet far from the larger Sedona crowds and traffic. Nearby Ranger Station very well done and helpful.

One or two days is all that is needed if with a family.
One or two days is all that is needed if with a family. The town is too crowded and commercialized so visit Sedona for the nature, the hikes, the vistas. If you do plan in being in town then plan to visit very early on weekends and watch out for traffic, it can be really bad. Also, make dinner reservations well in advance. Food/restaurants are just OK so if you are a foodie lower your expectations.

Beware of ticketing traps on tourists.
Beware of ticketing traps on tourists. Look at Trip Advisor concerning this scam. Always loved Sedona. We parked with other cars on a quiet street where there were no 'no parking' signs. We got a ticket for $125 and cannot possibly go to court to contest it. We live in Washington. We were legally parked and criminalized as is their routine for tourists. One of the
restaurants imposed a 24% tip automatically
10/10! Nicest hotel I ever stayed in (and I stayed in many from palaces to high end chains or boutiques, in Europe, Asia and the Middle East where there's much nicer hotels that in the US). Casa Sedona offers numerous nice touches, incredible service, superb facilities, great food, beautiful rooms with a unique soul to them! Was a wonderful surprise. A 10x value over anything else I've seen in hotels in the US. Absolute delight, was one of the highlights of my trip to Sedona and I had many! Piece of heaven in another heaven <3
Small cabins like park models but efficiently planned and very comfortable. Showing their age a bit but they provide everything you need in a home base to access the hiking in Sedona.
The pool was large and welcome after a day on the trails as was the adult only lagoon spa (large hot tub).
The BBQs at the activity center worked well and were clean, the mini golf was a fun extra.
The ac and heat worked well. The bathroom was large and had a spacious bathtub.
Star Motel has a stellar location! I the rooms where comfortable and had all the basic necessities fulfill! I do feel the price was a little high, however, it might be the season chosen for travel! we were comfortable, and it was very easy to walk around town!
the only thing I was not very pleased with was the tv didn’t work to well (the signal was always buffering) but in reality, you don’t go to Sedona to stay in your hotel! so it was ok!
thank you!!
The price for this hotel was quite a bit lower than others available in Sedona on the night of my visit and I wasn't expecting much. I rented 2 rooms, each with two Queen beds. The rooms were clean, up to date and well-maintained. Breakfast was included, which provided a bit more than is typical for "in the reception lobby" breakfasts, including pancakes, cheese omlets, bagels, pastries and hot and cold cereals. Good wifi. Quiet. Staff was very helpful.
My stay here was incredible! I have genuinely stayed at a place so amazing as this. The staff was so warm and helping. The service was personalized and went above and beyond any commercial hotel would ever offer. Not to mention the incredible amenities in the rooms and one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept on. This is a MUST on anyone’s Sedona trip. My stay here truly made my experience in this lovely little town.
Loved all the things we could do at the property, it was a beautiful place. My kids, husband, and I loved the place, it was absolutely perfect. We are a larger family and getting a hotel does not cut it anymore neither is it as nice and private as this place! I'm so excited we found this resort because we come to Sedona pretty frequently this will be the place we choose! (and I am super picky with my places).
Our recent stay was fantastic.
The property was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Located in a convenient spot in Sedona, it served as a great base for exploring the area.
The owners were pleasant to deal with and the check-in process smooth.
Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this place to others visiting Sedona.
Since that Sedona has gotten so commercial and overcrowded during the high season, the location of the property, about 3 miles from the center of town was a plus. I thought the price was a great value, considering that for the same price as a 300 square-foot hotel room, we had an entire 800 square-foot villa. The red rock view from the back balcony was wonderful!
We really loved it to stay at this Lodge! The place itself was very clean. We enjoyed the small decorations in the room which has made the room more cozy and pleasant. The staff was very friendly. This hotel is pet friendly, too! The location is good, also, it’s close to some dining places and very beautiful trails!
Our room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel was a short drive from all of the things we wanted to see in Sedona. The hotel restaurant was pricey like the rest of Sedona, but the food was delicious. Everyone on the staff was extremely nice and made our stay very enjoyable.
Hotel next to the perfect sunset spot above Sedona just minutes from city center (by car) and situated within a lovely botanic garden and equipped with a nice patio bar and a pool
the airport mesa loop is a real gem to discover the area and enjoy the views of the red rocks
Sedona hotels were quite pricey in general when we were booking, and this was the least expensive option we found. The room itself was clean, and there was ample parking. The location is great, with restaurants and hiking trails close by.
Loved this hotel, staff very accommodating, great location as you’re close to everything in the heart of uptown Sedona, and the best part was the awesome views from your balcony! We plan to come back for sure!
What a truly beautiful area. First time in AZ and loved Sedona area. Perfect location for this hotel. Our room was huge and comfortable. It was quiet, and breakfast was amazing. Will definitely go back!
It's always a pleasure to stay in sedona! This hotel has very nice views and it's always really quiet and very spacious. Nice balconies if you get a second floor still a patio if you're on the bottom floor.
staff was super helpful and the breakfast was the best in my experience. the hotel is in the great place in the heart of the social life of Sedona.
beautiful view out of the window
