Close to eateries. Some in walking distance. Area seemed/felt safe. Not only did the property have parking, but it was accessible from all for sides of the building.

Nothing the property was dirty. The room was dirty. The TV didn’t work. Just a bad situation. Holiday Inn gotta do better.

Did not eat the the property. The owner has done a good job on rehabbing the property.

I loved everything about the hotel. The decor was immaculate. We also loved the rooftop pool and restaurant. The gym even had a view of the lake. This hotel is a little hidden gem in Columbia. I highly recommend staying her for business or pleasure. It serves everyones needs!

what i like the most was the restaurant choices. there is an olive garden, bob evans and an indian restaurant literally next door. there is also a shopping center with restaurants and shopping across the main road. we ate at a place called the silver diner that was in that shopping center. there is a costco, aldi's, royal farm, lowes, trader joe's and other stores in the shopping plaza. there is also a walmart less than 5 miles away on dobbin rd, along with other shopping plazas.

This hotel was absolutely terrible. The floors were dirty.
This hotel was absolutely terrible. The floors were dirty. There were no dishes in the kitchen, the toilet leaked, there was no lighting, except for one lamp, it smells like dog, it was very outdated and dismal. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they refurbish it and re-renovate it. It was not worth the money that I paid. In fact I need a refund.

I liked That the hotel
I liked That the hotel
was near lots of different restaurants and places to shop and visit , what didn't like us that I booked a room with balcony and was looking forward to enjoying the lush greenery surrounding the area but was told it was upon availability, I believe I was charged accordingly, because I wanted a balcony, this was my 25 anniversary, I can't fly so we decided to drive from the city to Columbia , it's also too hot outside fur a heated pool and ended up getting a rash because of poor water temperature and cleanliness of the pool it summer time why have hot water in a community pool we are still dealing with COVID and other bacteria, I got out immediately when I realized the water was hot I'm a wheelchair patient that was not healthy ..

In additional to Exceptional hotel.
In additional to Exceptional hotel. The surroundings were nice. My wife and I went to a wedding reception for my nephew. The restaurant was the Stanford Grill. The restaurant is right next door to hotel. It was nice and food was better than most restaurants. I like fresh air. So, I opened the window at the hotel. I do not like air conditioning unless I am visiting the Sahara or Death Valley.

The kitchenette was very convenient.
The kitchenette was very convenient. The bed was nice and the renovations were thoughtful in it’s design.
However and if I may, the hallway carpet needs to be replaced with something more conducive to high level traffic and smell.

DO NOT STAY AT SPRINGHILLS SIITES IN COLUMBIA, VERY BAD AND Unprofessional service. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Very noisy and personal refused to close the door of the local to reduce the noise.
It was convenient to my second job. I needed to take a shower and change clothes cause I just got off my first job, which is in Ellicott City, and my second job is off of Columbia Gateway. When I got off work from my second job, I ended up staying the night since I paid for the room. The room was really nice comfortable bed.
The staff were all fantastic and friendly (front desk and cleaning). You could tell the cleaning staff works hard and for the most part the room itself was clean (see comment in next section).
The pool and hot tub were awesome.
Overall the hotel had a good 1st impression, especially the lobby area.
The room was great for our family of six and felt like we were in a home rather than a hotel room. It was clean and everything we expected. The staff stands out most of all and they are very friendly, accommodating and understanding. I really appreciated everything they did for my family.
The staff exceeded all of my expectations. Kamari, Tatiyana, Naoimi, Kristy, Candace, Myarim, and Shanel were all so friendly and provided nothing but excellent customer service. I see why this hotel is always in high demand and quick to sell out in the Columbia North location
There was a false fire alarm caused by the pool at 8am that forced the hotel to evacuate to the parking lot for 30 minutes.I could not shower, dress,or eat breakfast before having to leave and dress in a McDonalds restroom for my business meeting.
honestly, i liked nothing about this place. it was far too expensive for the quality. i guess i liked how the other guests also hated the hotel as much as i did. i liked that after about an hour i finally got a refund and got to leave.
I have stayed in nearly every lodging in Columbia over the last 10 years, and this was the best. Very accommodating staff, well equipped rooms with kitchens, quiet. The breakfast was excellent, the outdoor pool a real plus.
The hotel is very nice. Looks very new and modern.
The room was clean. I didn’t have time for breakfast but coffee/tea is ready in breakfast room and was very nice atmosphere.
Is a beautiful location and hotel. HOWEVER...Did not stay here that night as there was a $100 additional hold charge for incidentals that was not disclosed in my room quote.
The hotel was so nice. The staff was so nice. My room was amazing and very spacious and comfortable. They give breakfast, has a pool and a gym. I would stay there again.
The staff was very friendly and professional. For a 3-star hotel like sonesta to provide comfort at lower rates then other 3-star hotels is a steal for your stay.
