The room is big, tidy and clean. Soundproof is very good! You can find the kettle, cups, teaspoons, and even small teabags, coffee begs and sugar on the table. The location is good in winter -- there is a big green park just 400 meters from the hotel and the seaside is not far too (12 minutes to go). Odesa has nice beaches and nice parks.
Odesa has nice beaches and nice parks. Not all the parks are perfect so ask which ones to go see but all is 100% safe. There are still a few very old, brick paved streets and some of the old buildings are Real Odesa and fully repaired. Other buildings are nearly in ruins so it's interesting to walk around.
The red light district is subtle enough you can walk your kids past it safely.
The trolleys, trams, E-trains, buses are all so Eastern Europe and fun.
I spend a lot of time in Odesa and it's my favorite East European city by far.
Don't let the war stop you for a minute. No sweat at all here.

Ukraine is at war, which obviously dominates any review of Odessa. Odessa is a gorgeous city, with lots of important historical sites, an important cultural scene, and a vibrant city life. Even during this war, the people are extraordinary and the city is wonderful. During the war people will probably only come to Odessa for work, but if you have a chance to attend one of the many cultural events do so. The Opera House is gorgeous. The main pedestrian streets are a lot of fun. The compote in Odessa is excellent. The old works at the art museum have been moved for safety during the war, but the contemporary art in its place incredibly conveys the anguish of artists as they experience the war,

At the moment (late May 2022) most of the major sights are barricaded and closed for tourists. Most of the beaches are also closed. There is a strong presence of army in the city. Still, Odessa can be visited - with sensitivity - and is worth visiting. It is beautiful in a decaying way and quite unusual.

odesa is very beautiful, but this is diferent world against slovenia, alot of differences. we are mediteranians, different culture. and for this time is fantastic decorated, but from all of this beauty people cant live, unfortunately this is the fact, but even for ukraine will come better times, its for sure. people are very good, problem is the past- sovyet union. during my walking in old center i always imaging how really unbelivable beauty was this town when was builted; like in fairytales.
I want to say, if someone considered to see Odessa, this is - a place to stay, - a place to enjoy, - a place to meet culture. Yes, indeed, the city itself, and further more, Odessa's citizens welcome visitors, honestly and heartly. One of the best DJ-music-performances ever to be enjoyed here. Point. Just 2cent north of our Hotel Volna. And to whom it may concern, me and my brother want to thank, give all our respect to the staff of Volna's Hotel, in particular to all of the associated Restauraunt. Sound's nice? Yes - it is.
Hotel is new, stylish, and comfortable – and a great base to discover Odessa. Breakfast was tasty, creative, nourishing. The neighborhood is central – everything is ten minutes on foot – but still slightly off the beaten path, on a quiet, leafy street. The restaurant at the hotel could survive on its own, the food is that good. The music was chill. The staff was young and attentive and helpful. And they cared about your safety.
The Radisson is located at the heart of Odessa's main social and dining activities. The main door is slightly withdrawn from the main street which is a plus in terms of privacy. The staff are young, smiling and helpful. They all speak a functional English which came as a must as I do not speak Russian. The access to the rooms is quick and efficient and the elevator was never busy. I really recommend this hotel in Odessa.
The host Anastasiya and another lady of the staff were very friendly. The room was also more then i expected. When a problem arised, the host helped me to get one extra day. Even if i didnt speak ukrainian, all was solved and i got to understand with the friendly host and staff. I recommend this hotel to all who want to spend some time, în the beautiful city of Odessa.
Nice Family run Hotel next to the Beach clubs of odessa and the arcadia strip. The Suites are nicely furnished and newly renovated. The equipment furniture airconditon etc are new and nice. Our Suite was large and we had a balcony. The Staff was very friendly and motivated and gave good recommendations for restaurants. We would definitely stay again!
Just like a fairly decent hotel, disguised inside an apartment building. BONUS: It's on the ground floor. BONUS AGAIN: It's smack in the center of the city surrounded by everything you'll want to walk to right outside the door. But it's in a quiet courtyard, so you get the best of both worlds. I'll definitely stay again.
The location was the absolute best for walking to see the historic sites around Odessa.
The owners are the absolute best kind of people, they made my stay 100% better.
I'm very fortunate to have met them.
Next time I'm in Odessa, this is my very top choice of where to stay.
The hotel was okay, facility is not so new but it satisfy our demands a lot. So close to Beach And close to nice supermarkets, good location. I love the breakfast, it was open buffet And lot of choices. The stuff was so helpfull. I like it overall
The location is in the heart of Odessa. The hotel room I stayed in was small, but clean and it had everything and it was brand new. The administrator was super helpful and stayed in touch for continuous support.
I was traveling with my dog - was not a problem at all to stay in this hotel. Nice, big comfortable apartment for a good value. Good infrastructure. Olexiy was the best! It was a good idea to choose this place.
Room View. the rooms have a good view you can see the quite side of the city. best breakfast and coffee made my stay too good and I will love to visit there again and again. thank you Zirka for this hospitality
Everything was top notch, from the clean, comfortable bed to the high pressure shower and amazing buffet style breakfast!!! The owner is a sweet Azerbaijani lady, this 4 star hotel deserves higher than that!
The position of hotel is one of the best from the city is in center so provides access to numerous locations for tourism. The staff was helpful and provided very good recommendations regarding the city.
Sorry but there was absolutely nothing to like in this place, Im surprised bookings keep such a hotel with a 5 star status.
Bookings should do a better due diligence.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, the building itself is amazing and the breakfast... wow... the breakfast was perhaps the best one I ever had in a hotel
The hotel is right in the center of Odessa next to the pedestrian section of Derybasivska Street and close to the opera. The room was quite comfortable.
