Overall it was good, i was expecting cleaning to be at higher standards and the bed sheet to not come off everytime i turn around in bed.

We loved, loved, loved the location. It was paradise. We loved the calm bay and the set up of the villas. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed the feeling of having the place to ourselves. We loved the staff. They were all very professional, polite, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the kayaks and the beach dinner. It was truly different and amazing all the effort they went to make it a one-of-a-kind stay.

The place is amazing in pristine rainforest and surrounded by nothing but nature. There is many trails maintained by the owner to make sure you can explore the rainforest.
The drive to the place needs a 4wd but is also a great opportunity to spot wildlife (toucans, macaws, monkeys, etc...)

We came to PuertoJimenez to go Birdwatching, which we did with Royer, an excellent Birder. Also, I would recommend the Night Walk, with Emmanuelle in the Osa Interactive Garden.
The Dinners & Breakfasts were excellent at the Iguana Lodge Beach Resort. The staff were very friendly, also the owner Lauren!
Playing in the surf, with their Boogie Boards was challenging but fun!

This place is really wonderful for a full disconnection and to recharge the batteries. We had the chance to see many animals in the garden and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The personal attention from the owner to our opinions and needs was more than expected. We come again there.

We loved the ceviche at several places-Delphines is the favorite. fun vibe there on the water
Get your produce at the fresh market at the entrance to town-great selection.

The nature and exploration available from PJ as a takeoff point was amazing. Books tours early, or you may not secure a space, take himing boots and shorts and waterproof raingear just in case, and be prepared to rough it a little.

Anne, at reception, was friendly and welcoming and always addressed me by name, as if she'd known me forever! That impressed me!
I loved the tropical decor, the ambiance and laid back vibe here. Loved meeting other guests in the common areas, from all over the world. Loved having the outdoor kitchen, and BBQ to cook in.

We did a daytrip to Corcovado Nationalpark.
We did a daytrip to Corcovado Nationalpark. The Tour was organized by Osa Wild (a local organisation).
The Guide was very good and we saw lots of exotic animals during the Day. Corcovado and Osa Peninsula are very wild and untamed in relation to some more touristic places in Costa Rica. Puerto Jiménez isn‘t that special, but it‘s a good place to start Tours to Corcovado.

A quiet, unspoilt small harbour town.
A quiet, unspoilt small harbour town. Los Delphines was a great place to eat, chill and watch the wildlife. Watch out for caimans! Jaguar is a lovely little gift shop selling delicious drinks and ice creams. Night kayaking to see the bioluminescence was fantastic.
The location was really nice, you had the beach right in front of you, the center of Puerto jimenez was also very near and some restaurants within a 5min walk from the hotel. We saw a lot of animals, including macaw parrots and monkeys, bioluminescence in the water at night and more. The familiy which lived there was really nice and helpful with everything, breakfast was very delicious and the rooms always clean.
Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Thank you very much for everything.
Cabinas Jimenez is in a beautiful location right on the Golfo Dulce. It has swimming pool and very nice shared services for guests. My room was conveniently located and had a/c, which was much appreciated. Also, the hotel is situated within walking distance to the town’s restaurants, supermercado, and other services. Finally, one of the top points of the Cabinas was its host Pablo. He was very friendly; made you feel welcome; was full of good advice; and had a great sense of humor.
We had a wonderful stay at Anluka House. Giselle was very warm, kind, and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It had a refrigerator, washing machine, and a burner to cook (with all utensils and plates). It was very close to places we needed to go in Puerto Jimenez (bus depot, supermarket, tour offices, etc). There was a very friendly hummingbird outside on the bushes right by the room. We hope to stay with Giselle again soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
the hotel doesn't exist. no sign, no lights outside, dark building, no people, no reception. I was met by a drunk guy he has opened the building for me and offered to wait for the owner inside. I was scared the situation was like a crime scene. I run away.
Booking.com sent me automated message that the charge was made and they won't return the money. Will never use this sammers site again. Will dispute the charge.
don't book this hotel it doesn't exist.
Good location as it is 5 minutes from the main street, completely surrounded by nature so it feels like being in a little jungle even just by walking around the hostel. Lovely staff, they helped me with choosing my next destination after Puerto Jimenez and gave me advice on other possible places to visit in Costa Rica while backpacking around the contry. Private bathroom inside the room and a locker available for each person in the room.
I stayed 3 nights in this fantastic location. The place is simply beautiful and a great place to relax. I was really well looked after by Lorena, Gustavo and Dalila who are all very charming and kind. The food was delicious and lots of it. I hope to go back one day.
It is remote and the road is challenging but that is all part of the adventure. It was the cheapest and best place I stayed during my stay in Costa Rica.
Location, Puerto Jiménez is a very nice quite spot, mangroves, beach, town all within easy walking distance Chosa Manglar was a fabulous place with a private room set back in a mangrove garden, lots of wildlife just outside the door a good communal area and kitchen I extended my stay ii liked it so much. Would definitely recommend to backpackers and budget travellers. Will most certainly be back.
the architecture was gorgeous. they left bits of jungle sprinkled in to keep as much natural landscape as possible and the wood finish is beautiful. best gym I’ve ever seen at a hotel for sure. my room was a full apartment with patio and I really felt like it could be home away from home. I had everything I needed there and the staff was like family.
The hotel is very remote, in the middle of the forest. It is quiet and idyllic. Perfect for watching animals of all kinds.
The owners are very very friendly!
The food is freshly cooked and tastes fantastic!
Recommended for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary!
Right next to the pier in Puerto Jimenez (only 10 min walk), so perfect for excursions to Corcovado. Is allowed to leave luggage for free during a one night Corcovado excursion. Nice patio facing the sea and possibility to take kayaks for free
Very nice and comfy house, decorated with style and even with a semi-automatic washing machine and dryer, which was a blessing after 3 days in Corcovado. Close to the centre of Puerto Jimenez. Drinking coffee in the balcony was great.
Cheap stay. Good location, you can walk all of Puerto Jimenez in 5-15 minutes. Two minute walk from airport. 10 minute walk from bus station, supermarket, ATM and beach. WiFi was good in the lobby area but not in the room.
Close to the beach has a restaurant inside the hotel. Many employees who do their best to make the resort still taken care of. The staff accommodated my request to change the room because there is no network and no WiFi.
We are traveling to Costa Rica quite often and this resort in the jungle is very unique, animals come to you everywhere, food is perfect, nobody disturbs you there.
