The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had everything we needed, although some might say the selection was quite limited. Overall I have a very good impression of this stay.

Very good breakfast in a lovely room. The guests could also sit outside among the greenery. One thing I would love to see outside are more flowers particularly roses😁
Also the owners were attentive.
The room was very clean and cleaned each day.
Good bathroom. I liked the separation of the shower and toilet In another area
Outside was a lovely pool. I wish we had the chance to go for a swim. Also outside one found nice furnishings for the guests ! There was a lot of care put into the property. The attention to detail was very good.

Overall, the region was beautiful and there are many lovely towns to visit and much history in the area. Sarlat has a recently updated town square that is quite beautiful. Getting around the town itself is typical of a small French town. Walking is best! I was underwhelmed with the restaurants and the shops. Some areas of the town feel rundown.

It’s such a beautiful city and it has wonderful things to explore within the walls. The whole region around Sarlat is beautiful. Sarlat is the perfect place to rest after a long day exploring other small towns or caves in this gorgeous region. We could have spent two weeks here easily. Take full advantage of the markets on Wednesday and Saturday in Sarlat to get amazing food, and of course, eat at a restaurant and enjoy some amazing wine.

Charming old town, narrow streets, lots of shops, many, many selling local produce, foie gras, etc. Centrally located to visit the highlights of the Dordogne. Many places to dine, seemingly pretty much the same menus everywhere except in a couple of higher end restaurants. It is hilly. Parking very hard, everywhere is payant, get the APP.

Sarlat was an amazing town and a great place to visit. Plenty of restaurants and bars, friendly people and lots of history. We could have stayed longer but only to explore the surrounding areas.
Will definitely stay again

Politeness and a smile opens many doors, I don't speak French well, but was very pleased at how friendly and polite the people were. I mean all the people not just the ones that are getting some financial benefit from you.
Basically, be nice, don't be an ass, and you won't get treated like one.
Take a moment to look at how many men these small towns lost during WWI, must have been devistating.

We had a brilliant week at Le Clos De La Caneda just on the outskirts of Sarlat. The accommodation is very spacious, clean and comfortable, with breakfast being served to us by Fabienne, our wonderful hostess, who is very friendly and helpful with lots of information about local amenities and events. Off road car parking is a must for us, so having plenty of space in front of the property behind gates, which were pin coded worked perfectly for us. A great place to stay!
The location is great. It has a free parking lot so you can just leave the car at the hotel and it’s only a 8-10 min walk to downtown Sarlat. The rooms are spacious. Everything looks clean and new. The air conditioning works great, and so does the wifi! Best wifi we’ve had our whole trip. The staff is welcoming and helpful. And the breakfast buffet is amazing! It’s all-you-can-eat, has a great variety of foods to chose from, and it’s all very good quality.
The best part was the owners Nelly, Franck, and perhaps the cutest dog Meg. The location is excellent: private but only five minutes from Sarlat. A terrific hub near many of the beautiful sites of the Dordogne valley: Domme, Roque Gageac, Beynac, the chateaus Milandes, Beynac, Castelnaud. The Dordogne river itself with many canoe launch sites. Gouffre Padirac. Etc. Etc.
The hotel was very comfortable and picturesque with plenty of relaxation areas and outdoor space. The pool was very nice and the ambiance of the whole hotel was very relaxing. I would stay here again without a doubt if I revisited the area. If you are driving there is also free parking and the hotel is very conveniently located a close drive to the city centre.
Friendly welcoming reception. Free on street parking. Rooms overlooking back street very quiet. Pool area smart with small pretty garden. Rooms of a high standard & loved the hotel and Sarlat so much we stayed an extra night. 2nd night we moved into a suite which was incredibly stylish. Would highly recommend and would love to come here again.
Very smart and comfortable hotel with a good breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable, and the black out curtains made for a great nights sleep. It’s a two minute walk into the centre of Sarlat so away from the noise but so close to the action. Plenty of parking on the street around, or there is a free parking lot just up the hill. Perfect.
The property is superbly located in the center of the medieval town close to many excellent restaurants. The owners were fabulous, helped us with restaurant reservations, met us at the hotel, and had many suggestions, and had a surprisingly well stocked kitchen for us. The room itself was wonderful.
The apartmant was very comfortable, clean and warm. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower. Short walk to cafes, restaurants and the historic part of Sarlat-la-Canéda. Parking was conveniently next door giving easy access to to the car which is a big plus in most towns in France.
loved the decor. the room was a lot more spacious to what we have been used to during our travels across France. and the bed was super comfortable ! also loved the fact that there was free parking just up the street - super convenient. even in august we always found a park easily
The host was SO nice and so accommodating. He had good advice and was easy to talk to. The hotel was lovely...we stayed in 2 different rooms since we added on an extra night. Both rooms were amazing! I would go back there again in a heartbeat!
The hotel is very pretty with good facilities and location to Sarlat, close enough to walk there and far out enough to feel calm.
The owner is super friendly and can’t do enough for you, and the breakfast we had one morning was very yummy.
Great location, easy to find parking outside the hotel, although they do have private parking also.
Clean comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.
Just a few minutes walk into Sarlat centre. Would definitely stay there again.

Brand new modern apartment right in the centre of Sarlat La Caneda. On site parking included, comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped self contained apartment. Short walk to market, restaurants and shops.
Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location in the centre of Sarlat. Super helpful staff. Room was fantastically appointed with a lovely terrace. Highly recommend dinner at aux 3 sens too
