Even on a Wednesday night there was so much going on around the area we weren't bored.
Walked around at night time. Area was well lit so we felt very safe.
The room was spacious and very clean. Fantastic views of the ocean and surrounding suburbs.

Sun-drenched and laid-back, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.
The city center has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.
Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.
The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialties such as western rock lobster and chili mussels. There are also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

We went over for a conference and stay an extra 10 days for a holiday.
Visited Rottnest Island, Swan Valley, Kings Park, Rockingham, & Fremantle.
Perth has a number of buses which make it easy to get around without a car.
We did hire a car as we wanted to travel up and down the coast. But while we stayed in the CBD we used the Red Cat, Blue Cat, Purple Cat buses. Very easy and reliable.
Did a tour through Kings Park and visited the Perth Mint.
Did the Matagarup Bridge Climb and Zip. Played mini golf after we came off the bridge. Lots of fun.

Safe in most areas with a good police presence.
Relatively flat city so easy to walk around in.
Uber cheaper than a taxi, so avoid taxi's if you wish to save money.
Great selection of restaurants in and around Elizabeth Quay.
Great pubs with awesome pub grub.
Nice walking paths along the Swan River to either side of Elizabeth Quay.
Worthy to take a trip to the Margaret River!

Perth is a fantastic city, particularly for those with children. It’s family friendly with plenty to do and the weather is stunning. The beaches are sensational with many a walkway located alongside them. Cafes are abundant and cater for all, as are restaurants with prices to suit all budgets. People in Perth are also so friendly, great place to visit or stay on.

Perth is a souless boring backward red neck town.
Perth is a souless boring backward red neck town. Its dead as a door nail most nights. Just as expensive as Singapore but not even close to being as vibrant and interesting. Give it a miss at all costs if you can.
Absolutely wonderful the staff were amazing and nothing was a problem for them.
The hotel is immaculate. The rooms are very spacious and superbly appointed. It is super clean. The daily breakfast is fantastic along with the wonderful service provided by Boris.
This Is a real gem and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Perth.
I would give this hotel ten stars if I could.
A big thank you to mohammad Taylor Boris and the rest of the front of house staff for making our stay so comfortable and memorable .
Great location, right on the sea front. Cottesloe is on the train line between Perth and Fremantle (just 9 minutes to Fremantle). It’s a pleasant 20 minute walk from the hotel to Cottesloe station.
Or catch bus 102 from Claremont station or Cottesloe station.
Also enjoyed the pub downstairs with some decent food choices and specials.
Pleasant and chatty manager/owner David gave us plenty of tips on Rottnest island etc.
Great breakfast at cafe nearby Il Lido, busy at weekends.
The best thing about the Pagoda is the price; a spacious 2 bedroom apartment is much more affordable than a comparably sized hotel room in the city. We had a car so still easy to get to and explore Perth CBD/Northbridge which is relatively close.
The staff in the hotel restaurant at breakfast-time were gracious and patient.
The suburb where the hotel is located is pleasant for exploring (IMO).
The free street parking for your car is great.
The Perth Ibis is within a short walk from the train station and handy to bus service. The harbour and the shops are all within walking distance. My room was on the backside of the hotel and was very quiet. No traffic noise. The breakfast buffet was in keeping with all of the 4 star hotels I stayed at during this trip in Australia. Lots of options and they are happy to provide gluten-free bread for toast.
Love everything about this hotel in East Perth. Perfect for a romantic getaway, it is surrounded by beautiful gardens and three great restaurants that overlook the water. You'll feel like you're in Europe! It even has an outdoor, heated swimming pool with views. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we've ever slept on. Reception staff are lovely and welcoming.
Have used Quest apartments a few times now, the Ascot one twice. Rooms are always spotlessly clean, beds are comfy and large. Staff at the front desk (24hr reception) are always so polite, helpful & accommodating.
Mainly stay here due to it's location to the airport, but will continue to use due to the exceptional staff and quality room and facilities.
We had an early chech in and can only be grateful since we were really tired after long hours flight. The hotel is great, the location was super good, near Perth station, restaurants and cafes. Even the room was small, we hanged out in the shared area. Loved you could have a coffe at any time, a fruit and cold water. Really loved the overall vibe.
This is the second time staying at this hotel, hotel is located right in the middle of CBD on Murray street, close to shopping mall, restaurant, Bus/train station most importantly the free CAT service just right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is delicious even though very limited choice & slightly overpriced at $38 per person.
Central location (10 min walk to Perth central). Restaurants just outside the hotel. Comfy bed, and nice shower. Free warmed cookie on check in. They also let us drop our bags off earlier than check in and delivered them to our room when the room was ready, while we explored Perth
The apartments were clean and well stocked. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. The airport shuttle worked great for getting to and from the airport, and there was plenty of parking so we could pick up a rental RV and bring it to the property with no problems.
Staff are always so hospitable and friendly.
Rooms are well maintained with great facilities.
The location is perfect - walking distance to Northbridge and so many great bars and restaurants around the city. This is one of our preferred hotels in Perth.
Location is fantastic for access to the river, cafes, hotels and Perth zoo if you're so inclined. The view over the river to central Perth is very nice as well, especially in the evenings.
Having the ability to cook our own meals was a bonus.
Host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was provided each day, and always really nice. Close to shopping centre and central to Perth and beaches by car. Train station close by 10min to Perth cbd.
Quay Perth is 5 stars all round ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location, value, hotel service, hotel dining, staff, views and room just exceptional! We loved it all! Thank you for this unforgettable experience Quay Perth 💯⭐️✨
Receptionist, Rachel, was very obliging and could not be faulted.
The downstairs Bistro - very good.
Wanted to book a hotel in close proximity to Perth airport and yes, it was.
Very clean boutique hotel in CBD of Perth walking distance to river Harbour and lots of restaurants. Basic amenities and good value. Great for a night or 2.
