Breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. Our room was very large and comfortable. Lovely to have windows that open as it was a bit warmer than normal for Ireland. So many restaurants in walking distance plus the beach. We had no issues finding parking on the street every night.
Overlooking the harbor town of Portrush and the famous Royal Portrush Golf Club, Royal Court Hotel has an enviable location by the sea. Guests also benefit from free parking.

If you want a beach holiday with rocky walks and scenery thrown in then this is a good place. Easy bus ride away (two an hour) is the Giant’s Causeway. The helpful tourist office in the town hall has timetables and can tell you where the bus stop is as it’s located in an odd place.
Not so much to do in wet weather conditions but good places to eat that had plenty of room.

Great area to explore plenty to do for kids and lovely beaches. Lots of options for food and plenty of places to walk and explore. Just a pity the weather wasn’t great when we were there but still enjoyed it!

Lovely town on the North Coast to base yourself for all the excursions around. Fantastic beaches and plenty of good food places. Weather can change at a moments notice with sun, rain and the wrath of the Atlantic all in a day, come prepared. If you golf there are excellent golf courses.

As long as weather is good there is no better place to be than at Portrush. The beaches the food the pubs all great and the people always make you welcome.
General shopping would be limited however, but in reality when you go to portrush your not really wanting to shop.

I scheduled in Portrush because of a visit to Giants Causeway. I was pleasantly surprised with the city. It is a very clean upscale beach town. My only regret is not realizing The Harbour bar was also a restaurant. We did end up eating in a more trendy "European" restaurant and did not discover Harbour Bar until after dinner. As a traveler from the US, I would have preferred the old friendly feeling to The Harbour Bar and wish it popped up in a search for restaurants on Google.

A familu friendly place and very welcoming.
A familu friendly place and very welcoming. Plenty to do, with the beach, currys amusements and shops and cafes. The Jet centre and the giants causeway was a short drive and portstewart close by. Lovely place.
Gary was an excellent, accomodating, informative, MOST helpful host (and that latter word should be interpreted In the handsomest way possible)... Portrush is a very walkable town, and Malvern House is located in a central and very convenient and pleasing location. I grew up in this town well over half a century ago, and Gary and the house were a welcoming "reception" for my hopes and memories. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to man and place. I had my 37 year old son with me and his enthusiasm matches mine.
We found the hotel and staff to be superb in every way , from the moment we entered the beautiful and comfortable reception area we were made to feel very welcome . The restaurant is wonderfully placed with fantastic views over the Ocean and bay made even better by the attentive and friendly staff .
We will be returning to this hotel as it makes a superb base to tour this part of Ireland .
Caroline is amazing! She is the best host you can get. If you are looking to stay with a local family and meet people this is the best place for you. Don't expect to find a hotel room and ready - served breakfast, but expect to like your stay so much that you won't want to explore the area but instead stay indoors with Caroline. We are already thinking how to get back soon!
Food was very nice, rooms clean and spacious. staff were exceptional. Very friendly and chatty. I don't normally book overnight in portrush I usually drive up and down but decided last minute to book a room and glad I did. Will definitely book same hotel again in summer. Portrush has improved so much last few years I remember it being run down. It's buzzing now
Our first visit to Portrush and we were fortunate to find an amazing place to stay. I cant think of anything negative to say about this beautiful house. It was perfect in every way. Fabulous location, amazing sea view. The owners have thought about everything you would need for a home from home place to stay. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Great location in Portrush, very central easy walking distance from everything. Free Off street parking for guests, which was handy. The hosts were really helpful and welcoming, hotel is well decorated and presented and very clean. The bed was massive and so comfy. Room had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, would definitely stay again
Great stay at Larkhill House. First off, a King size bed which is rare in Europe all around. Great location - short walk to downtown Portrush. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Lovely host. Great breakfast cooked on a huge red stove! Jenny is a great host. Charming and lovely, funny and great recommendations for good eats.
Staff are always making sure everything is okay for you. The food was excellent highly recommend that if in portrush go for food at Adelphi .Our room was spotless and warm . We will be back early next year , parking car nearby is so handy . Thanks for making us so comfortable and welcome 😊
It is in a very central location in Portrush, which is a very central location to explore the Antrim coast. We were in Room 1, which was very comfortable, and also had a great bay window with chairs to look out at the beach and activity going by. Breakfast was good, and the host was friendly.
it’s a great hotel right between portrush and portstewart on the coast road.Staff are excellent and very friendly.. Amazing breakfast. Had dinner on both nights and it was lovely too..Very clean comfortable rooms. This was our 2nd stay in 11mths and we will hopefully be back again soon 😃
We have been traveling in Ireland for 3 weeks now, primarily staying at B&Bs, and the amazing breakfasts were the best we had at any B&B or hotel, bar none. they have an excellent budget, but I would strongly recommend opting for their optional menu for a few extra pounds. Must amazing!
Although it is a B&B I think it deserves to be a mini hotel. Rooms are excellent , great size very comfortable.
Breakfast was very good with a great selection of serials, juices, fruit etc.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The B&B is in 15 minutes walking distance to Portrush.
Just love where the royal court hotel is situated, beautiful scenery, lovely stroll down to the beach.
Food is off excellent quality, with a good choice .
Bedrooms are beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.
We always book the Atlantic when staying in Portrush,it’s not the Ritz but is really comfortable, the staff are so friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent, I have stayed in other hotels in Portrush but the Atlantic is my favourite
Excellent 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment stylishly remodeled and spotlessly clean. Perfect for our stay in the heart of Portrush, close to the Wild Atlantic Way attractions like Giant’s Causeway. Walkable to the iconic Harbor Bar & Bistro.
Perfect location, really spacious, best equipped property we’ve ever stayed in, warm and comfortable, and included a private parking space which is a godsend in Portrush!
