Our recent stay at Riad Les Roches was absolutely wonderful! This charming hotel features a beautiful swimming pool and a team of incredibly hospitable staff. The breakfast and meals were delicious, and the organized 4x4 tour to Merzouga village was an adventure to remember. Meeting the nomads and Gnaoua in Khamliya provided us with valuable cultural insights, and the desert camp experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers exploring the Merzouga Sahara Desert.

Merzouga is a small village located in southeastern Morocco, known for its spectacular sand dunes and desert landscape. The dunes in Merzouga are part of the Erg Chebbi dune complex, which includes some of the highest and most stunning sand dunes in the Sahara Desert. The dunes in Merzouga can reach heights of up to 500 feet, providing visitors with a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding desert landscape. Many tourists visit Merzouga to experience the unique sensation of being surrounded by vast stretches of pristine sand dunes. We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent! Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed! Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice. Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

Dar Morocco was incredible, the staff were so kind and friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, the location was unbeatable. Near enough to the town to get food but also right across from the dunes with no obstruction of view. Looking out my window and taking afternoon strolls through the dunes were amazing. We also spent ample time relaxing by the pool. The rooms are also enormous. We had the opportunity to chat with Mustafa our last night and talk about growing up in Merzouga which was wonderful to hear about!

Merzouga Sahara luxury camp is excellent! Above any expectation! We had a big tent like a large room, a very comfortable bed, toilet and a shower. Clean, comfortable, great quality of food in abundance. The staff is very polite and helpful. At night, after dinner, we danced and we played the local instruments. The experience with the camels is unique. You definitely have to live it even if you are not the most adventurous person! We went with the camels and came back with the jeep. The luxury and comfort of a great hotel with the most stunning views (Sahara) we’ve ever seen in my life. We would highly recommend seeing the sunrise by camel - Ibrahim was great! Hassan & Zayid (apologies for the spelling!) were really friendly and super helpful. The tent itself was stunning, fixtures plumbing and a hot shower all in place. Luxury Tented Camp is a great experience in Merzouga. We arrived during sunset by a camel ride. The desert is magical. At 8 pm, we had dinner, and the food was excellent, especially an eggplant tagine. Later, there was typical music by the fire. Finally, the best part was stargazing. The sky at night in the desert is breathtaking. The tents are very comfortable and luxurious. I recommend 100%.

Spending a night in a Merzouga desert camp and riding camels was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The tranquility of the desert, coupled with the mesmerizing sunset and sunrise views, made it an unforgettable experience. The camel ride added an extra layer of authenticity to the journey. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an immersive desert experience

All the comfort one needs in the middle of the desert. Host and his stuff are super friendly people who are there to provide you with all what you need. It is a must visit place in Morocco especially if you are looking for more then just touristic attraction and want to get to know more about life of local people of Merzouga desert.

We had a great time in Erg Cheebi desert of Merzouga. We spent a night here as a part of 10 days in Morocco. We really enjoyed the amazing landscape and took nice photos with Camelriding and the sunset time. We highly recommend spending one night here!

The best Hotel in Merzouga. The owner, Ibrahim was the best host ever. It was like to be at home! We loved the kitchen, the room, the pool and the gate that gives you access directly to the desert’s dunes. Strongly recommended!
