Loved this town.
Loved this town. Just as pretty as Mykonos town but less expensive and less crowded. Lots of locals, no cruisers. Good selection of restaurants. Very nice waterfront. The Apollo Temple was cool—easily accessible and free. Stayed here for two nights, did not venture out to the rest of the island, and could have been perfectly happy staying another 1-2 nights just exploring the town.

Great island to visit - Naxos Town has a lot of good restaurants, plus a good bag wash laundry service - the Captain's laundry. The towns of Filoti and Apeiranthos are well worth a visit. Breakfast was wonderful and the service in the mornings superb! We particularly loved the Greek specialities, but for those wanting more traditional items there is eggs and bacon.

Location is great also, a little out of the main port area so you'll have to walk 10-15mins so get back into there, but it's close to the Agios Georgios Beach so we picked this so we were kind of in the middle of both. Lots of restaurants on the walk to both locations though. Check in was easy and the hotel was easy to find and clearly sign posted. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a basement room which was designed as a cave but that was part of the whole Greek experience. I liked the little patio in front of the room - it was a nice place to eat snacks and drink wine. The receptionist was friendly and gave good suggestions on attractions and beaches to go to nearby.
