The breakfast was awesome -- the best I've had at any hotel. And in the evenings the hotel provided a beer get together with local beers. The staff was very accommodating, and van transportation was provided to where our cruise ship was docked.

We were on a short trip to see an art exhibit at a wonderful coffee house. We also browsed around the shops and enjoyed a great First Friday Art Walk and dinner at the Flamingo. It was a delightful weekend. Seward has much more to offer for a longer stay. The views of the mountains and the sea are stunning.

Seward is a nice small town.
Seward is a nice small town. We went during the off season. a lot of things where closed or had limited hours during our trip. We missed out on a few items we would have liked to check out but there was still plenty to do in the area. Recommend a wildlife boat tour, we had a blast and still saw a lot of wildlife so early in the year. The Alaska Sea Life Center is a must see any time.

Hotel was well situated in a retail area with many options for food, ice cream, coffee and and drinks. The views of the harbor and access to it were great and right out the back door. The complimentary breakfast was good with both hot and cold items.

Lots of construction driving to/from Seward from Anchorage, so it took way longer than we had anticipated. It was a cute town and we enjoyed our 8.5 hour glacier cruise. I would definitely take a shorter cruise. Fox Island was a great part of our cruise.

Seward is a charming waterfront town with plenty of good restaurants and things to do. We took two incredible boat tours with Kenai Ford Tours; they were fabulous. There is plenty of hiking, and the city is nestled between mountains. Seward is the kind of place you hate to leave.

Highly recommend coming to take a glacier tour, whale watch, hike or to take children to the aquatic life center. Nice, locally owned galleries and shops with friendly keepers. Easy to get around and can access local parks and walking trails with close by parking.
The place is in prime location with easy access to Seward port and Exit Glacier. It seems that hotel is managed by a family as Todd and other ladies took interest in taking care of everything. Todd explained in detail about the places to visit. He also listed down all the good places to visit. The whole family was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend everybody staying here and will definitely stay in this place again!
This is a new hotel being ran by John and his wife. John was amazing at fixing our reservation mix up and provided great local recommendations on places to eat, hike, and things to do around town. New establishment with keyless entry, fully equipped kitchen, big flat screen and comfy bed and bath. Great quiet location new food and drink options, but set apart in the woods. Vert conveniently located to all things in Seward and surrounding area.
No toilet paper in the room. One bath towel for a family of four (we got a suite). Sink had a crack, so water spilled on the floor when it was 1/4 full.
Staff were like zombies. Barely responsive, never apologetic, though I will admit that none of us were eaten.
Maybe this hotel was cheap by Seward standards, but not by any other standard. The place has a lot of charm (I loved the decor), but they need to get their stuff together.
Harborview Inn is an excellent alternative to the over-priced hotels in Seward. The room is super clean, cozy, with a nice view of the mountains, and has very strong wi-fi. Excellent localization, short distance to the harbour and to downtown, and there’s a shuttle stop just the other side of the street. The manager ( Mary) is a kind person, and tries to do her best for you. I’d certainly recomnend the Harborview Inn to anyone.
it was conveniently located right between the harbor and downtown. Mary, the front desk staff was WONDERFUL. I actually booked based off some reviews on Mary and I wasn’t disappointed. She even remembered my name and was very accommodating. there is a free shuttle bus stop right by the hotel. the room was super clean.
Is an old oooold hotel building with an interesting past! The location is just perfect- close to the stores, bars and is in a city center in gen real.
Maybe it was not a 5-star hotel, maybe was super old but cozy and it was an experience to stay there - we trit this as our attraction
The location was excellent! We were able to walk to restaurants which were very close by. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean! We’ve been to Seward many times and this has been my favorite hotel so far. We haven’t stayed at all hotels but this one had the best location.
The Breeze is one of only a few hotels open in the winter in Seward, so we are grateful that they are there to provide that service. The Breeze has been a Seward staple for many years, since before I was born. I could not imagine the Seward harbor without the Breeze Inn.
The room was spacious, well-furnished, and very clean, and the hotel is nicely located near coffee shops and the Main Street area as well as several trailheads. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a pleasant spot to enjoy Seward and the surrounding area
The location was nice and close to restaurants and some shops.
It's close the the Seward sea life centre.
The beds are comfortable.
Breakfast is included, a standard American breakfast is served
We were able to park on the street
The hotel location was perfect. Right near the adventures we were doing! They offered breakfast wish was awesome. Our room was clean and much larger than I expected, with an amazing harbor view! The staff was also very friendly.
The building Is apparently the newest hotel in Seward. It is a solid three star hotel with rooms in a restaurant in lobby the pure clean. However they don’t appear to use any Covid disinfectant and none of the staff wears masks.
very friendly staff at check in (Candy) with recommendation what to do in Seward.
