The food and the markets were my favorite! The historical aspect of the city is very interesting, and the buildings are so beautiful. Another Broken Egg Cafe is such a quaint and delicious breakfast spot. The Sunset Cruise on the catamaran was delightful. Next time we visit we will be sure to stay closer to town so we can walk instead of Uber. The ferry to Fort Sumter was really nice as well. Every single person that we encountered during our stay was super nice.

Overpriced city, it was not much to do there, overcrowed during long weekend. There is a decent USS museum - make sure to have about 5 hours to cover most of it. Most restaurants even those which are named as Fish restaurants might have no fish entrees. Prices for seafood are about $30-40 per enteree.

Very filthy mattresses were bloody sheets were dirty room was disgusting. TV didn’t work. The list goes on. Because we got in late and it was a one night stay thank God we just slipped in our clothes on top of the blankets.
Marion and Lori and their staff created a wonderful experience from the start. Communication is superb, their welcome, their service, their attention to detail, the hospitality was first class. 86 Cannon is perfect for a vacation in Charleston.
We used the bikes for an easy cycle downtown to explore the historic sites, their restaurant recommendations were superb.
We will definitely come back.
The hotel was nicely situated about half way between downtown Charleston and Sullivans Island beach. Roughly 15 minutes by car to either. Our particular room had two separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchenette. Very nice! This was an upgrade we paid for, as most rooms are not configured like this. The staff were fantastic! Comfortable beds and clean rooms.
If you're driving to Charleston on I-26, this hotel is in a good spot and offers a comfortable if you want to be close to the downtown Charleston are (20 minute drive) without paying the downtown price. The King Room is spacious enough for two people and the bed is comfy. Plus, the bathroom is clean and functional. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Fantastic central location easy access to central Charleston. Bedrooms outstanding. Great care taken to ensure our comfort and good nights sleep. Amazing extras. Champagne on arrival and daily in the evening was a lovely touch as was the cheese and wine every evening. Breakfast offered was good. Very friendly hotel staff.

Front desk staff and breakfast staff very helpful and friendly and it was very clean. Good value for price.
They also are only hotel in that group that has a free airport shuttle! Very nice driver.
Room was great and the hotel smells very clean. Location was downtown historic district, but we underestimated the distance from the hotel to the market area. Luxury hotel with luxury accommodations. Shelton was a very personable bar tender. We enjoyed having complementary drinks our first night.
My cousin and I booked this place very last minute, and thankfully, the host was very thoughtful and accommodating. I would rebook this cottage if I am ever back in Charleston. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful, the location is very convenient to downtown Charleston and the price was right.
Hotel location was so close to downtown Charleston. The breakfast was great and it was so convenient having a restaurant on top of the hotel. They also have a shuttle across the bridge to downtown saving you from driving and having to pay for parking. We will definitely stay there again.
Parking was available and easy to use.
Near the freeway to go to downtown Charleston.

It was amazing! Super clean! Super convenient to downtown Charleston! The staff was amazing as they provided fresh cookies for the kids. The breakfast was also amazing! Will be back!
fairly price rate (less expensive) Vs. other hotels downtown.
it was clean in the room
comparing to a similar price in Switzerland, the service and quality is way below!!
For Charleston, whose central shopping district was little more than a 15-minute drive away, this place was a real bargain: about a third the price of a downtown hotel.
Beautiful, clean home. Very comfortable and an easy drive to downtown Charleston. Perfect for our stay and much more affordable than most hotels in the area.
