Excellent location close to the side of town where the Fitz Roy hike starts and a lot of great restaurants nearby. Staff were helpful with booking a transfer and making restaurant recommendations. Room was comfy and clean. Nice breakfast, they even made coffee for me early one morning.

Nice location beside the train station, a bit of a walk to the hikes but easily walkable through the town. We booked a private room, which was a small chalet beside the hostel. Nice and clean with heating inside as it could get cool at night but the heater worked really well. Staff were very nice, there was a power cut when we came but they gave us the room so we could drop our bags and have a rest before checking in.
Featuring the best views of Fitz Roy mountain and Torre hill, Hosteria Senderos offers rooms with free WiFi access in El Chaltén. There is an on site restaurant and a wine bar.

We had a very nice luxurious stay in this hotel. Price was reasonable. We enjoyed the drinks and snacks provided. There always seemed to be someone on staff at the front desk. The breakfast was an excellent European style spread with plenty of options. Location is good and near the bus stop on the far end of town.

Beautiful town, lots of places to eat and have a beer; know that the weather is extremely unpredictable and hardcore: we had insane winds when we there in beginning of April. We got lucky enough to see Mt Fitz Roy the first day we were there but every day after (3 days) it was covered in clouds, so take that into account for your trip!

Amazing place that can be the base for many adventures!
Amazing place that can be the base for many adventures! We planned our trip to Patagonia leaving more time for El Calafate, but we left thinking we would have preferred to switch this! In El Calafate, everything is much more tourist like and you need to pay for basically every tour you’re going to.
Chalten felt more chilled and like you can just leave the hostel and go do your own thing without necessarily paying for an agency to take you somewhere.
It’s a very charming little place with great food and local beers available, so very cosy and welcoming after a long day of hiking

We loved El Chalten!! The hiking is incredible!
We loved El Chalten!! The hiking is incredible! And the town is adorable. Love the little local food places. Since the weather is so variable it was nice to have an extra day in our schedule to wait for a clear day for hiking. We all filled it with horse back riding, climbing and birding so no one was bore.

Located under the towering peaks of Fitz Roy, this town is a special place from which to explore the Andes. There are walks to suit all levels of hikers and the landscape is just breathtaking! The people of el Chalten are especially kind and friendly also.
Very small and cozy hostel, close to some of the major trailheads but not in the center of town (not a problem as the entire length of town can be walked in ~20 mins). The people were nice, the kitchen was clean, the showers were warm, and the staff was helpful and prompt when wifi and heat went out one day. It felt more like one large house with 12 or fewer people in it which is much different than other hostels I've stayed in. Would definitely recommend it to someone visiting El Chalten for the first time!
The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was yummy, and the dining area was cozy. The location was great because we were right in the middle of all the restaurants and bars that make up the center of El Chalten. Everything was easily walkable. The rooms was simple but clean. I thought that we would be able to get some views of the beautiful mountains surrounding El Chalten, but I think most rooms in this hotel do not offer these types of views.
La Quinta is a little slice of heaven in the quaint town of El Chaltén. We cannot say enough about their help finding the best hikes, packing lunches, and providing the most relaxing spot a little outside of town (but not too far like some estancias we looked at!). It is a truly family run business and we 100% will be back!!
Superb hotel with awesome, kind hearted, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff working there. Everyone from front desk staff, room cleaning staff, restaurants waiters/waitresses are super helpful and always made sure me and my wife are taken care of. Probably the best you can find in El Chalten.
The host, Sebastian is a super cool laid back guy. Will give you all the recommendations and more. Very social environment. Great place to meet other travelers. I stayed at a cheaper hostel in the area which was also nice, but this was a more social environment.
The host Andrea was a very nice woman. The room was also cozy and the location in the town is great. The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay an extra night as it was fully booked. Next time we're in El Chalten we'll definitely try to stay here again!
The staff were super chilled and helpful. Let me leave my stuff overnight as I went camping! The common spaces are nice especially for El Chalten (all other hostels I went to didn’t have this). Kitchen is big but dirty. Could be cleaned more.

The woman running the hotel was extremely helpful and very nice. The room was cozy and was a great home base for our hiking. The town is small and we could walk from the hotel to everywhere we needed to go
staff were so helpful with any questions we had and had great suggestions on hikes and places to see. the hotel itself was located in the centre of el Chalten. was very clean and comfortable
brilliant, central location. large room, lovely staff and good (cold foods) breakfast. for pricey El Chalten we found this place really good value for money in an exception central location
Loved this spot. The hotel stands out with luxury amenities in this cute, laid back town. Helpful staff, great accommodations. I highly recommend the splurge while in El Chalten
